IMPORTANT NOTE
1. Candidates can visit https -//webkiosk.thapar.edu/Admission to check their allotted branch with Login ID as the registered email
ID and password as last six digits of TIET application number (Numeric part of the TIET application number).
2. Login ID and password has been sent to the candidates who have been allocated a branch in third round of counselling. Only
such candidates will be able to login to check the branch allocation status.
3. Candidates have been allocated the branch provisionally on the basis of his/her 10+2 PCM merit. To be eligible for admission,
the candidate must fulfil the eligibility conditions mentioned in Prospectus 2020-21 available at www.admissions.thapar.edu.
4. If a candidate has qualified for a branch as per the category wise cut-off displayed above and that branch was selected by
the candidate in branch preference order in the application form but still he/she has not been allocated that branch, such
candidates should report at admissions@thapar.edu with 10+2 scorecard and application number.
5. The tie at 10+2 PCM marks has been broken by overall percentile score of JEE(Main)-January 2020. In case of tie at percentile,
the same has been broken by following order -
a. Candidates obtaining higher Percentile Score in Mathematics in the JEE(Main)-January 2020.
b. Candidates obtaining higher Percentile Score in Physics in the JEE(Main)-January 2020.
c. Candidates obtaining higher Percentile Score in Chemistry in the JEE(Main)-January 2020.
d. Candidates with higher marks in English at 10+2.
e. Candidates older in age to be preferred.
6. The candidates who have been offered branch afresh in this round of counselling, they must pay the requisite fees on or before
28-08-2020. Candidates who have paid the fee for the branch allotted to them in the previous round(s), need not to pay the
differential amount (if any). They will be required to pay the differential amount at the time of document verification to be
announced soon.
7. The candidate can deposit the fee using any one of the following mode.
a. Online using your Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking by visiting the link

8. After making the payment, please make sure to make the entry in “Fee Confirmation Slip” available at
https -//webkiosk.thapar.edu/Admission.
9. After making the entry in “Fee Confirmation Slip” as per point-8, candidate will see following two options in their login -
a. Fix Branch Allotted - Candidate should use this option only if they are satisfied with the branch allocated to them and do
not want to upgrade further as per their branch preference order filled in the application form.
b. Withdrawal Branch Allotted - Candidate should use this option only if they want to withdraw their admission from TIET. Such
candidates will not be considered for admission in further rounds of counselling. These candidates should send the duly
filled “Withdrawal form” available on website to admissions@thapar.edu to initiate the fee refund process.
