ZLAPS means ZURICH LARGE  ACCOUNTS PRICING
SYSTEM

ZLAPS is a Zurich proprietary pricing tool application


which allows underwriters and underwriter associates
to efficiently price the insurance needs of both new and rene

 Obtain Zspire ratings, loss cost for
 Quick rate when using LEX
(Loss Rating/Expense/Excess module.
 Obtain WC Manual Rating
 Obtain Z-spire Rating (WC, GL, Auto)
i.e. Workman's Compensation, General Liability,
Automobile.
 ZLAPS interfaces with the following: LEX,
GCAPS, Pricing

The WC Manual Rating does the following:


 Rates WC and WCSIR
 Used by GCiNA (Including M&A and SRS)
and Group Captives (Ability to combine
ratings for multiple members)
 WC SIR must be rated in WC Manual Rating,
regardless of BU, due to system constraints of
importing into LEX (Loss / Rating / Expense
/XS)
 Contains edits for compliance with Zurich
filings for large Deductibles, LRARO (With
the exception of qualification), LRRO and
Schedule modifications
 File imported into LEX
 Imports data from pricing via EDB (e.g.
deductible credits) into WC Manual Rating;
data transferred from WC manual Rating for
policy issuance into Z-Spire
