MGT 1047: Social Marketing

Component No. 1 :
Abstract
(20 Marks)

• Each batch to identify any one social issue of your choice. Preferably those
discussed in class (50 major issues social marketing can impact)*.
• There shouldn’t be any duplication of the social issue chosen. So register
the topic early (latest by 9th Aug 2021) with the course faculty. Topics will
be registered on first come first serve basis.
• Each team will have to submit a minimum of 1000 words abstract clearly
mentioning:
i. Batch No, Team members and team lead (Names with Reg. Nos.)
ii. What the team has in mind about the project?
iii. What they wish to accomplish?
iv. How they are going to accomplish?
v. Why they want to carry out this project?
vi. Where they want to carry out this project?
vii. Who are going to be benefitted?
viii. What will be the contribution of your project to the social well-
being?

• The team leader will submit their abstract (one online document ) latest
by 30th Aug 2021(5 PM).The link to upload the document will be shared
shortly
o Note that no abstracts will be accepted after 30th Aug 2021 , 5
PM and as such abstracts will be disqualified.

• Please note that this work is going to be evaluated as your J component,


and as such, has to be ‘original work’, and not ‘a duplication of already
existing sample / model’. However improvements to the existing projects,
with adequate justification, and value additions can be accepted. So take
this work seriously.
