Premyo Bonds Grand Winners

Receive Cash and Non-Cash Rewards in Ceremony

Winners of the 1st and 2nd Quarter Rewards Draw of the Premyo Bonds para sa Bayan received their cash and
non-cash awards from the Bureau of the Treasury and partner institutions.

MANILA, Philippines, 25 June 2020 – The Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) concluded the
awarding and ceremonial turnover to the grand winners of the 1st and 2nd quarter rewards draw
of the Premyo Bonds para sa Bayan. The two grand winners of the simultaneous draw held
last 18 June 2020 were China Banking Corp. Employee Retirement Plan (275506TA01) and
Ms. Josefina L. Flores. All winners received a Manager’s Check for Php 1,000,000.00 and a
brand new house and lot from Lessandra by Vista Land & Lifescapes, Inc. for the 1st quarter
winner and from Micara Estates by Property Company of Friends, Inc. (Pro-Friends) for the
2nd quarter draw winner.

Led by National Treasurer Rosalia V. De Leon, the awarding ceremony was conducted in
observance of strict physical distancing and health protocols. The BTr officials and Rewards
Committee members were joined by Mr. Brian Edang, Chief Finance Officer of Vista Land and
Ms. Clarissa Joy G. De Joya, Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications of Pro-
Friends who formally turned over the residential units to each of the grand winners.

The China Banking Corp. Employee Retirement Plan was represented by Ms. Maria Rosanna
Catherina Testa, First Vice President and Trustee, together with Ms. Mary Ann Lim, First Vice
President and Mr. Christopher Ma. Carmelo Y. Salazar, First Vice President and Treasurer of
China Banking Corporation. In her message, Ms. Lim lauded the innovative Premyo Bonds for
promoting a wider opportunity for investors.

Ms. Josefina L. Flores, who was accompanied by her husband, was very grateful and very
much elated to receive the cash and non-cash awards since she only made her investment
on the last day of the offer period. She is a first time investor in Government Securities and is
a proof of the wide reach and attractiveness of the BTr’s Retail Treasury Bonds program.

Including the Grand Winners, a total of 116 lucky investors received prizes with the 3rd Cash
Reward Tier of Php 20,000.00 (100 winners) and 2nd Cash Reward Tier of Php100,000.00 (15
winners) in each of the 1st and 2nd quarter draws. Winners of the 3rd and 2nd cash rewards tiers
already received their cash rewards via direct crediting to their designated settlement account
on 23 June 2020.

The next Quarter Rewards Draw will be held on 18 September 2020.
