1. it cannot be in equilibrium, If an object is in equilibrium there must be an even number of

forces acting on it.
2. Because of inertia of motion according to Newton's 1st law of motion. The passengers'
body continues their motion until the car straightens and as such it causes
the passengers to move toward the right side of the car.
3. According Newton's 1st law, every object will resist change its state of motion, so if
the bus slows down, then the ball will want to keep moving at the speed the bus was
originally moving.
4. It is because the small pebbles have less force of friction acting on them as compared
to the big rock.
5. When the diver meets opposing forces (water) that cancels out his/her downward force
and reduces downward velocity over time. Greater force in opposition in shorter time
would result in greater pain felt upon impact.
6. When you shake your hands, the water is accelerated and gathers momentum. When
you suddenly stop your hands or you change direction, the momentum of water resists the
sudden change and continue to moving in the direction it started.
7. While your body is held in place by a seatbelt, your head and neck are unrestrained at
the moment of impact. During a collision, your neck may jerk back and forth and
Sudden, rapid movement can cause serious injury.
