Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day : 01
Route : Airport - Leh
Distance/Time Taken : 5-6 Kms 20 Minutes’ (Approx.)
Meal : Breakfast & Dinner
Stay : Hotel - Leh

On arrival at Kushok Bakula airport in Leh (situated at a height of 3,500 meters), you will be transferred to your hotel. Leh
Flight is considered one of the most sensational flights in the world. During the day, acclimatize yourself with the weather
and high pressure of Ladakh. Shanti Stupa is situated on a hilltop in Chanspa built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu
Gyomyo Nakamura. Shanti stupa provides beautiful and panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Shanti Stupa in
Ladakh was built to promote world peace and a symbol of the ties between Japan and Ladakh.
In the evening, take a walk to the local bazaar in Leh and enjoy Shanti Stupa.

Route : Leh – Monastery Tour

After breakfast, proceed for Shey, Thiksey Monastery, and Stok Palace Museum
Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh.
Shey Palace, the erstwhile royal residence of the Ladakh monarchs, is the main attraction of Shey. The palace was built
by King Deldan Namgyal in 1655 AD. Namgyal also made Shey his summer capital. It offers views of a vast expanse of the
surrounding valleys
Thiksey: Spectacularly sighted, Thiksey is one of the largest and architecturally most impressive gompa. There are several
temples in this gompa, containing images stupas and wall painting of Buddha’s which are exquisite.
Stok Palace Museum: Stock Palace (14kms – South east of Leh): Where the present day royal family resides. Stok Palace
and museum was built in the year 1825, by King Tespal Tondup Namgyal. At present the place has a collection of royal
dresses and crown etc. which is open for travelers.

Route : Leh - Nubra Valley via Khardung-la Pass
Distance/Time Taken : 125 kms 4 - 5 Hrs one way drive (Approx.)

After an early breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung - la Pass which is situated at a height of 18360 ft and is
considered as the highest motorable pass of the world. Once you arrive at Khalsar drive on the left towards Diskit &
Hunder Village. Check in at your camp.
Visit Hunder Village and on sightseeing of Sand Dunes. Hunder is a small village where the Shyok River meets Nubra River.
Hunder lies on the ancient silk rout. Hunder is most popular for the camel rides. Bactrian Double-humped Camels are
used for safaris on sand dunes.
Stay overnight at the Camp in Nubra.

Day : 04
Route : Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake via Shyok (New Route)
Distance/Time Taken : 160 Kms 5 - 6 hrs drive (Approx.)
Meal : Breakfast & Dinner
Stay : Camp - Pangong

After breakfast at your camp drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok. This direct route from Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso has
now become more popular in the recent past years Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso instead of coming back to Leh. Drive
from Nubra to Pangong via Agham - Shyok and Continue drive to Pangong drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village
situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Pangong Lake is salt water body of 120 km in length and 6 – 7 Km broad at
the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India & China (2/3 of the lake is in China’s possession).
Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. One really feels
very close to nature at Pangong Lake with its scenic surroundings. On a clear sunny day, you can see seven colour
formations in the crystal clear salt water lake. All together it covers 604 km2. During winter the lake freezes completely,
despite being saline water. It’s reported there are no fish or other aquatic life in the lake. On the other hand you will see
numerous ducks and gulls over and on the lake surface.
Overnight stay at Camp in Pangong.

Day : 05
Route : Pangong – Leh
Distance/Time Taken : 160 kms 4 - 5 Hrs one way drive (Approx.)
Meal : Breakfast & Dinner
Stay : Hotel - Leh

During early morning, you can enjoy a photo - session around the lake. Post breakfast drive back to Leh through Changla
Pass.

Route : Leh –Airport

Booking/Confirmation from your end

When you are satisfied with our price and tour package you can simply drop us an email/Booking form to process
the booking. Once we receive confirmation from your end by booking form or by email we will start to process
your booking as per the package.
After processing your booking when we receive confirmations from all the Hotels/Houseboats/Resorts. We will
forward you invoice along with the confirmations of Hotels/Houseboats/Resorts that your accommodation and
other tour arrangements are confirmed from our end.

Payment

• Payment for the holiday will be 20% of the total invoice after the confirmations and 80% balance will be
transferred 15 Days prior to arrival or at the time of arrival in particular region.
• If the payment is not received by the due date we may treat the booking as cancelled.
• For 4* And 5 * properties full booking amount should transferred before confirmations.
• Cancellation will be strictly followed as per the hotel policies.

• Talk with you prior to departure to provide an introduction and confirm arrival procedures.
• Meet you at your destination airport and you get settled in your accommodation.
• Go through arrival pack information and ensure you are prepared and ready to go!
• Our team will be contactable 24 hours a day during your tour to ensure that any issues are managed and
addressed immediately.

• All passengers have to report 02 hrs prior to the departure due to security checking at the Airport.
• Bona Fide Holidays/Ladakh Journey reserves the right to shuffle your itinerary as per the availability of the
Hotels at the time of booking. In case of unavailability in mentioned hotels, alternate accommodation will be
arranged in a similar category hotel
• Refund on cancellation strictly depends upon concerned hotel's cancellation policy
• The vehicle used is non-air-conditioned and is available for point to point services only and is not at disposal.
• Clients are requested to follow the timings in the program. In case any services are missed due to delay in
departure, the operator will not be responsible for any refunds.
• Any ID Proof is mandatory to get permits for Nubra and Pangong and same should be present at the time of
