BIOGRAPHY

Ella's whole name is Ella Maurine Grace Anglim Madurog. She was born on
the 3rd of November, 2000 thus, she is now 19 years old in the meantime. Her
permanent address is at Mataas na Bayan, Mogpog, Marinduque. She has no
siblings, being the only child in the nuclear family. Her mother is a housewife and
shares a dialect called Chinese Putonghua/Mandarin while her father is a furniture
maker and shares a dialect called Bisaya. In her family, they celebrate Chinese
New Year by preparing offers for her grandfather and the predecessors, and they
also do the tradition which is the use of Incense for Prayers occasionally.

As her educational background, she studied preschool at the Rural

Improvement Center by the age of 3, took nursery, kindergarten and preparatory.
She studied elementary at the Mogpog Central School. As of high school, she went
to Mogpog National Comprehensive High school. She went to Marinduque State
College for both Senior High and College, took a STEM Strand and picked Civil
Engineering as her course.

In her time for herself, she like things clean, preferably her room. Her
hobbies include listening to rock music, arts, playing musical instruments like
keyboards, drums, and guitar. Being a music lover, her top bands are “My
Chemical Romance” and “Motionless in White”, and as an art lover, her
inspiration came from one of the famous painter and artist Vincent Van Gogh.
However, in terms of problem solving, mainly Mathematics, she performs poorly
due to her characteristic of a distracted person. Although she has self-esteem to
perform activities, she lacked confidence because of fear. She is dormant in
showing her likes between her peers due to being idealistic about people judging
her but this ordeal does not put pressure on her to stop her passion.

In Ella's life in the society, she joined in a band when she was in the 2nd
grade till high school, with a lyre as her instrument of choice. She also became an
SSG officer in the 9th and 10th grade. She joined a singing contest in high school
and copy reading in journalism, ended up both as 1st placer. Together with her
academic awards, she finished elementary and senior high with honours. “I am in
charge of my own life and no other people” is her guiding principle.
