NOTE: The current transformers (CT's) are not provided with the kit. The correct CT's are specific to the
application. See the charts that follow, for rating information of the CT's that must be acquired separately.
To mount the current transformers on the generator output leads, use the following procedure.
1. Install the appropriately rated (5A secondary) CT1 over the T1 generator output leads. All T1 generator
output leads must be routed through CT1. The polarity mark (white dot) (A) must be towards the generator
stator.
2. Repeat the same procedure for installing CT2 and CT3 over all of their corresponding generator output leads
T2 and T3.
3. Fasten each of the CT's to the corresponding generator output leads using one 6K-0806 strap per CT. Fasten
each of the CT's together using three 6K-0806 straps. See Illustration 4.
4. Connect lead wires of each transformer to the proper terminal of terminal strip TS2.
