Sindh is known to be a culture of vibrant colors and rich heritage.

Among these specialties is the very famous “Ajrak”.

Ajrak dates back to Indus valley civilization and that makes it unique
and vintage to be worn.

These Fabrics display special designs and patterns made using

block printing by stamps. Common colors used while making these
patterns may include but are not limited to blue, red, black, yellow
and green.

The process of its execution is a blend of time invested, team work

and special skills.

People of not only Sindh but all over the world know that if ever
“prints of Pakistan” are discussed “Ajrak is one of the art that defines
the criteria.

In order to make sure the heritage reaches to masses and awareness

can enlighten the younger generation Gulahmed would like to
contribute a little.

Our team visited the interiors of Sindh to discover and understand

the process “Ajrak” and then closely worked with the artisans to help
us understand the making and execution of patterns so we can be as
close to the heritage as possible yet trendy.
