OFFER OF PROVISIONAL ADMISSION FOR 2019/2020 ACADEMIC SESSION

1. I am pleased to inform you that you have been offered provisional admission into two years National Diploma
Cooperative Economics and Management of the Federal College of Agriculture Ishiagu.

2. You are required to accept this offer by paying your acceptance fees of five thousand naira(N5,000) only not later than
two weeks to the date of this offer. If by then you do not respond by paying the fees, this offer to you will lapse and
your place will be offered to another candidate. The College does not accept responsibilities for postal or network
delays in accepting this offer of admission. You must ensure that your qualification meets the entry requirements as
advertised. If at any time it is discovered that you do not possess the minimum entry requirements for this programme,
you will be advised to withdraw.

3. FEES: Students' School Fees is payable through the College TREASURY SINGLE ACCOUNT via any
Commercial Bank of your choice using RRR code generated from Remita (www.remita.net). The MDA NAME is: Federal
College of Agriculture, Ishiagu. However a fee of N4000 yearly is payable through Zenith Bank PLC as Students Union
Government (SUG) fee, with the following details. Account Name: SUG FCA Ishiagu. Account Number: 1015634141.

4. FEEDING: The College is not responsible for students' feeding. Parents/Guardians should make adequate provisions for
students' feeding in any of the Canteens/Cafeteria available in the College on pay-as-you eat basis.

5. MEDICAL: A Medical Clinic is available in the College and open to the students of the College. Consultations and
medications are free in accordance with the agreement between the students and the Health Care Insurance Scheme.

6. ACCOMMODATION: This is based on demand. It is open to students on first come first served basis.

7. G.C.E/W.A.E.C/S.S.C.E RESULTS: During registration, all fresh students must show their GCE,WAEC/NECO Results by
presenting:

A certified copy of blue print gazette of the originals of their certificates.

A photocopy of their birth certificate/sworn declaration of age.
A letter of recommendation/testimonial from the principal of their last school/employer.
Statement of result or G.C.E./NECO results slips will be accepted subject to confirmation. NOTE: Higher
National Diploma candidates must also show their National Diploma Certificate plus an evidence of one year field
experience. Students are warned that checks are made with examination bodies like WAEC/NECO for authentication
of results submitted. Cases of forgery are handed over to the police and the student will be expelled.

8. MEDICAL CERTIFICATE: A Medical Certificate will be issued to you by a Medical Practitioner from the College Clinic after
a thorough medical test.

9. SECURITY SCREENING: You must present yourself for screening. Your admission is deemed void unless you present
yourself for this check.

10. REGISTRATION: Normal registration of courses will commence from 02/12/2019. Students who failed to complete their
registration formalities two weeks before Matriculation will be deemed to have forfeited their chance of admission.

11. You will be furnished with a copy of students' rules and regulations during the registration exercise. Each student is to
produce at the registration, the originals of his/her credentials for verification. Students in National Diploma and Higher
National Diploma levels that will undergo farm practicals are advised to bring weeding hoe, an Indian hoe, a machete, a
budding knife, rain boot, pair of overall (navy-blue for farm practice and white for laboratory practice). A rechargeable
lamp will be needed during power failure.

12. RESUMPTION DATE: The resumption date is 04/11/2019.

13. You are to report at the College permanent site at Ishiagu, Ebonyi State for registration and commencement of
lectures. Congratulations !
