TITLE:
Set up MOODLE Badge
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE:

Using your learning materials uploaded in the development site you must be able to set up
badge reward system based on the given procedures.
SUPPLIES/MATERIALS:
eLearning materials, Course Development Site
EQUIPMENT:
Computer
STEPS/PROCEDURE:
1. Go to https://www.openbadges.me/designer.html
2. Develop a badge as a reward for passing the quiz in your designated LO
3. Access your course development site
4. Manage your MOODLE badge by following these steps:
a. Click the gear icon on the upper right side of the course site and then click
“More”
b. Under Course Administration, click “Manage Badges” then click “Add a new
Badge”
c. Write your name as the title of the badge
d. Set the badge expiry date to “Never”
e. Click the “Create Badge” button.
5. Set the criteria of your badge by following these simple steps:
a. Under the criteria tab, select activity completion for the badge criteria.
b. You will then be prompted to the list of activities you currently have in your
course site. Choose the pretest.
c. Set the completion of criterion to when “All of the selected activities is
complete”
d. Click “Save”
6. Enable users' access to your badge by clicking “Enable Access” then “Continue”
7. Accomplish and submit the performance criteria checklist in the submission bin of this
task sheets.
