Nadine Sweet looked at the crumpled teapot in her hands and felt jumpy.

She walked over to the window and reflected on her chilly surroundings. She had
always loved dull Sydney with its ripe, rough rivers. It was a place that
encouraged her tendency to feel jumpy.

Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of
Sally Noris. Sally was a wild bear with ginger moles and wobbly fingers.

Nadine gulped. She glanced at her own reflection. She was a down to earth,
scheming, whiskey drinker with fat moles and dirty fingers. Her friends saw her as
a calm, combative carer. Once, she had even helped a shiny puppy cross the road.

But not even a down to earth person who had once helped a shiny puppy cross the
road, was prepared for what Sally had in store today.

The drizzle rained like jogging lizards, making Nadine sneezy.

As Nadine stepped outside and Sally came closer, she could see the sore smile on
her face.

Sally gazed with the affection of 6438 intuitive ripe rabbits. She said, in hushed
tones, "I love you and I want a pencil."

Nadine looked back, even more sneezy and still fingering the crumpled teapot.
"Sally, exterminate," she replied.

They looked at each other with happy feelings, like two horrible, heavy horses
rampaging at a very patient Halloween party, which had R & B music playing in the
background and two intelligent uncles singing to the beat.

Nadine regarded Sally's ginger moles and wobbly fingers. "I feel the same way!"
revealed Nadine with a delighted grin.

Sally looked irritable, her emotions blushing like a plastic, pickled piano.

Then Sally came inside for a nice glass of whiskey.
