GM / Opel Key and Remote programming

Vehicle coverage:
ƒ Astra H 2002-2005
ƒ Vectra C 2002-2006

Procedure:
The following information shows the procedure required to program both the transponder key and remote
fobs on vehicles shown above.

¾ Ensure the vehicle battery is fully charged, all keys are available and the 4 digit code has been
obtained.
¾ Connect the tester to the diagnostic connector, switch ignition on, select the ‘Steering Column
Module’ from within the GM/Opel Body systems menu for the required vehicle.
