I have completed the Google Fundamentals Digital Marketing Course.

It has 26 modules that focus


on marketing at various levels. Creating a business strategy that includes digital marketing, the
importance of having a website for your business, content marketing, search engine marketing,
search engine optimization, social media marketing etc. covers topics. There are 26 modules with 7
main groups, the last one is an assessment. At the end of each module there was an assessment that
helped me understand how much I understood.

Each module is explained using videos and various scenarios. A test was performed after each
module. It was very easy to understand with modules, examples and facts. It starts with the basics
like creating a website and progresses to making the business global through various tools and
marketing levels.

I've learned that some businesses use local listings to build a digital presence using products like
Google My Business and Bing Places for Business. Such directories allow businesses to post details
such as descriptions, reviews, maps and images. An online business strategy helps you get all ideas
out of your head and into a usable form. Web analytics is about using the data you can collect from
your website to tell you about your business.

When you have loads of products to sell to a large audience online, it's probably time to consider a
complete e-commerce solution. Making improvements to your website to help it appear in organic
results is called search engine optimization or SEO. Good SEO involves helping a search engine find
and understand your site. This course informed me about different marketing strategies and the
importance of marketing.
