FAMILY HEALTH TASK

1. Recognizing interruptions on health and development

Question: How healthy do you consider yourself on a scale of 1 to 10? Is there anyone of your
family member have/had any chronic disease such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease?., etc (If
yes) How many people in your family have/had?
Response: “Siguro 8…Wala naman may sakit sa amin”
2. Seeking health care
Question: How often do you get a health checkup? It is private or public health care
professional? (If there’s any chronic and hereditary conditions/disease.) Is your primary health
care physician able to conduct a swift diagnosis and prescribed medication?
Response: “Dahil sa program ng 4Ps, nakakapag-check up kami every month sa clinic dito sa
bayan”
“Oo, lagi naman may binibigay na libreng gamot sa clinic”
3. Managing health and non – health crises
Question: Has anyone of your family member have a health insurance coverage? Is their health
insurance covered pregnancy and childbirth?., etc.
Response: “Meron, philhealth na galling din sa 4Ps”
4. Providing nursing care to sick, disabled, or dependent/vulnerable member/s of the family.
Question: Kapag may nagka-sakit po sainyo, sino po ang nag aalaga at ano po ang ginagawa
niyo kapag may nagka-sakit? / When someone in your family gets sick, who takes care of
him/her and what do you do?
Response: “Kapag may kakaiba akong nararamdaman sa aking katawan, nagpapacheck up
naman ako sa clinic ganon din sa pamilya ko. May may lagnat naman, yung mga anak ko din
nag-aalaga sa akin”
5. Maintaining a home environment conducive to good health and personal development.
Question: Ano po ang mga madalas niyo gawin para maging ligtas sa anumang sakit ang bawat
miyembro ng iyong pamilya? / What do you always do for the protection of each member of
your family?
Response: “Lagi naman kami naglilinis ng paligid ng bahay namin lalo na ngayon na
nauuso yung sakit na dengue, para makaiwas din kami sa sakit”
6. Maintaining a reciprocal relationship with the community and its health institutions.
Question: Sa inyong lugar, may malapit po ba na ospital o klinika na pwede niyo mapuntahan
agad kapag may nagka-sakit sainyo? Kumpleto naman po ba yung mga kagamitan nila? Meron
po ba kayong health insurance? / Is there a nearby hospital or clinic where you could go to if
someone in your family gets sick? Are there enough hospital equipment and supplies? Do you
have Philhealth or private health insurance?
Response: “Merong clinic sa bayan yung lagi naming pinupuntahan tuwing merong may
sakit sa amin, kompleto naman sila ng gamit”
