Carburetor Installaüon Notes


Olnsta"ation is the reverse of removal.
O Being careful not to bend or otherwise damage the jet
needle, align the groove in the throttle vaive with the
guíde pin in the carburetor body. Check to see that the
throttle valve goes all the way down into the
carburetor body, and
smoothly.

CATION
Always keep the tubes freo of obstruction. and make
sure they do not get pinchad by the chain or shock
absorber.

OAfter installing the carburetor, do the following.


OWhen instáliing the carburetor into the carburetor
O Tum the fuel tap to the ON positiont and check for
holder, align the center of the carburetor wíth the
fuel :leakagê from the carburetor-.
positioning mark or groove on the holder.

Fuel spilled from the carburetor is hazardous.

OAdjust the following items if necessary


Throttle Cable
Idle Speed

ORoute the air vent tube and overflow tube through the
clamps on the crankcase and the magneto cover (see
Hose Routing in the General Information chapter).
