ARTICLES OF UNIFIED SYSTEM


(Otherwise known as Agreed and Declared Operational Policies)

ARTICLE I

One Board of Trustees, One Vision

The ULCC-SL Members of Board of Trustees are nominated by the religious


communities of the campuses whereby election is held during the first meeting to determine the
Chair, Vice-Chair, Corporate Secretary and Members. The functions and mandates are governed
by the ASOLC congregation as enshrined in the ASAS Norms and Guides.

Like any organizations, the unified system adheres to one vision of education which reads
as: “ULCC-SL as a Catholic, Augustinian-Marian educational system commits itself to the
holistic formation of the 21st Century Learners.”

ARTICLE II

Unified Academic and Administrative Board

The members of the Unified Academic Board are the College Deans, Principals,
Research and Publication Directors and Chancellors. Whereas, the members of the Unified
Administrative Board are the Chancellors, HRD Directors, Directors Quality Management and
Institutional Development, External Affairs Directors, MRBCEC Directors, Campus and
Facilities Management Directors, Students Services Directors, Religious Services and Campus
Ministry Directors, and Finance Directors.

ARTICLE III

Unified Website and Enrollment System

The 2 branches utilize one computerized enrolment system wherein limited access is
confined solely for advising, registration, assessment and payment processes of the
units/departments involved. There is one website for the ULCC-SL which serves as the online
platform of the 2 branches. The home page should carry unifying online banner, slogan/ mantra,

and the modified LCC logo. However, the news feeds should include all salient updates of the 2
campuses.

There are two portal tabs for the two branches. The access of important documents and
unique/specific to the branch should be localized. The students and faculty will be asked to log-
in for easy access of classified information/documents.

ARTICLE IV

Unified Publication

The ULCC-SL keeps a unified publication of newsletters and research outputs of


students, faculty and staff. In promoting a unified system of publication, campus journalism and
research pursuits shall contribute to personal growth and nation building.

ARTICLE V

Unified Public Relations and Marketing Channels

ULCC-SL shares production of marketing collaterals and paraphernalia. All print and
non-print releases (power point slides, infomercial, video, documents, and forms) carry specific
identifying trademarks associated to ULCC-SL and/or bear the name of the unified system.
Digital marketing in social media platforms is regulated by the MIS focal person to ensure
consistency of formats and styles and accuracy of contents.

Specifically, when it is necessary to mention, the campus seal and unified logo should
also bear this phrase: “A member of the Unified La Consolacion College South Luzon”.

ARTICLE VI

Thrust Fund for Sustainability

The members of the ULCC-SL recognize the needs for thrust fund for self-sustaining of
the ULCC-SL in its common and shared projects/programs and plans wherein both campuses
will benefit from it. Thus, the Unified Academic and Administrative Board members are
empowered to implement plans which will generate funds for specific purposes.

ARTICLE VII

Unified Faculty, Staff and Student Development

The UAAB is mandated to come up with programs and/or projects that are classified
unifying and common in scope and substance. The Board should meet solely for this mandate
before the start of a school year and monitor the progress of the plans/programs.

Particularly, the HRD Directors are encouraged to set some, fora, assemblies and
community based initiatives which are not academic in nature but will cover personal and
spiritual well-being of the teaching and non-teaching personnel.

ARTICLE VIII

Shared Knowledge-System and Quality Assurance

The unified system allows, but is not limited to, sharing of best practices in academic
management and operation management, access to libraries and learning resource materials,
accreditation documentary requirements, and teaching competencies and skills development.

ARTICLE IX

Unified Academe-Industry Partnership

The unified system maintains an industry advisory board in enriching partnership in areas
of practicum/ on-the-job training/ internship, educational services, research, faculty scholarship
and immersion, publication for image building and recruitment.

ARTICLE X

Ecological Stewardship

The unified system promotes love of creation through community and school based
programs in which unique approaches to environmental protection and conservation and
urban/organic farming for plant production.
