Smartphone APP Supporting EXPERT not just NORMAL
Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Meeting +
TARGETED CUSTOMERS--every media firm, school, corporation in the world
IMAGINE AN APP: That presents beside any paragraph or chapter/article input to it, a
diagram of main points showing instantly--number of main points, their names, their
ordering, their layers. Imagine a later version of that app that does the same beside
videos/movies a running diagram of dialog, setting, etc. main points. Imagine that
same text app in colored and otherwise highlighted text, displaying one by one, succes-
sive pre-treatments of text that remove what obscurs and hides number of points,
point names, point ordering, point layerings? Imagine later versions that translate such
point diagrams into cause-effect ones? iMAGINE diagrams of points easier to use/recall
than text itself! Shall we get bold?--IMAGINE a new way of writing/presenting that
REGULARIZES point structures 3 ways for far better recall/application/mixing. IMAG-
INE a new kind of word processor tailored for that new more useful way of writing!

IMAGINE AN APP THAT ASSISTS ALL PEOPLE DOING EXPERT LEVEL

READING/WRITING, STEP BY STEP, TILL TECH DEVELOPMENTS ENABLE
IT TO DO ITSELF EXPERT LEVEL READING/WRITING.
OUR STORY For decades AI has attempted automatic “comprehension” (summaries
etc.) and “composition” (chatbots etc.). HOWEVER all that work aimed at matching
“normal average” reading done by people today. A lot of the complexity and ambigu-
ity in achieving these comes from the slop and amateur means and ends of “normal
average” readers. Richard has studied EXPERT READERS/WRITERS for decades, starting
with undergrad research projects at MIT under Chomsky, and at Weston Schools under
Bruce MacDonald. He found that the way experts read makes EASY--finding points,
naming them accurately, finding what orders them and layers them. IN SUM--experts
read for structures of points not points of interests or lists of them. Amateur normal
average readers ignore point structures and hence lack context for naming points accu-
rately and for perceiving what order and layers they are in.
IN IMPORANT WAYS expert forms of reading are EASIER TO AUTOMATE than
average person ways.

WHAT IF WE BUILT AI APPS that aimed at enabling, automating world

top class ways of reading/writing not today’s average ones?
EXAMPLES
of expert readings of DL article
& Hamlet (from RTGreene’s book)
GLOBAL QUALITY McGrawHill ‘93
which won XEROX PARC the
Baldrige Award while Richard
Developed the High Performance
Work Center App there,
sold 600 copies to NSA pre-launch
PRODUCTIZATIONS STEPS:
First an app that finds and highlights clues to points and their structures in text, helping ordinary
people moves towards expert level reading and writing. CUSTOMER--top schools, col-
leges, SAT/GRE shops, corporate workforces
Second add to that app changing gradually highlights to readers into hints/clues so readers prac-
tice finding what to highlight on their own--improving how they read without the app.
CUSTOMER--sell to Google, Facebook, Linkedin etc news streams as auto content
indexer (bettering keyword indexes)
Third the app first applies current MIT-developed symbolic text pre-treatments, then treatment
by treatment graduallly gets neural nets to do, if they can, each treatment, till total
automating of comprehension andcomposition is achieved. CUSTOMER--sell to deep
learning NLP teams,ventures
Fourth, turn our app’s outputs into inputs to deep learning text comprehension systems, improv-
ing them. CUSTOMER--sell to all commercial/research NLP ventures, labs, clients
Fifth, move media treated from text--paragraphs/chapters/articles to videos/movies/dialog then
to real time generated meeting minutes. CUSTOMER--Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and all
video streaming suppliers
Sixth, by pre-structuring meeting contents generated in modest ways, create a TALK TO APP com-
piler, where meeting minutes get turned into working code for things discussed in the
meeting + apps as summaries of certain semi-structured kinds of meetings. CUSTOMER--
working apps as meeting minutes--sell to amateur software shops, schools, firms with
highly standards kinds of apps workers can themselves specify and largely code if
coached expertly
Seventh, one by one remove less vital pre-treatments as capabilities of deep learning systems
improve. CUSTOMER--sell many new versions, quarter by quarter, that entice deep
learning ambitious developments, easing their way.
Eighth, one by one expand the app or offer related apps that do 1 thru 7 steps above for expert
forms of meeting, discussing, brainstorming, presenting, planning. CUSTOMER--all
teams in all the businesses and all classes in all schools/college of the world.

CORE RESOURCES NEEDED FOR SUCCESS:

Of course foremost is a FOUNDER
smart, well read + expert in:
comprehension research (RTGreene 30+ years of published such results),
AI technologies (RTGreene MIT degree in Ai, graduated with SB),
super sales capabilities (famous huge high tech sales won Xerox Baldrige Award, etc.)
it helps if all the above are deeply documented (RTGreene 73 books on amazon now)
PLUS in contact with eminent experts (RTGreene, Noam Chomsky, Walter Kintsch, Meyer, Tenenbaum etc.)
in comprehension teaching, (RTGreene, world’s 1st metaphoric thinking assessment at Weston Schools)
NLP comprehension automating (RTGreene, sold AI text apps to CIA & later NSA)
Public detailed convincing publishings in the fields of AI, NLP, Text Comprehension, others--
layout of core EXPERT ways of reading/writing lacking app supports or treatment in deep learning
systems thus far. (RTGreene, Genius Algorithm vol.s 1to 4 on amazon).

ENABLERS NEEDED:
SWIFT and PYTHON, Interface and Database Programmers

WHAT TO READ BY RTGREENE (out of 73 books by him now on amazon) One

stop shop--Richard’s newest book, 300 pages on amazon:
The Bestest Mostest Press book of ADS,
introducing Richard’s research agenda and topics, and
introducing all 73+ books now sold on amazon by Richard.
Then read
WAYS TOP THINKERS THINK
expert reader protocols taught to P&G, General Dynamics,
Panasonic, NVPhilips, EDS, Coopers & Lybrand
and taught at:
University of Chicago, Keio U, Gaidai U, Beijing U, others.
BUT MARKETING COSTS TYPICALLY ARE 7 TIMES APP DEVELOPMENT
COSTS--What is our marketing “development” plan?
The PRODUCTIZATION STEPS above are ALSO a clever plan to weave marketing deeper and larger
as each STEP is done. OUR first app versions assist ENTIRE POPULATIONS in switching from how
amateurs now read, to how world best people read. MOREOVER they produce DIAGRAMS that are
easier to recall and apply than any “in the head” remnants of what people read. Every juku,
school, corporate training program in the world will want to switch from teaching rather formless
sloppy incomplete and inaccurate “normal” “average” readings and teaching ways to achieve
that slop, to teching how experts read showing the expert level DIAGRAMS their students from
their instruction now produce. This the famous “self scaffolding” approach to growing into
new bigger markets as apps grow into new “features”. Below are two figures on NEW MORE
REGULAR WAYS TO WRItE and the new word processor they require. By improving GRE/SAT
scores of first users we can build media and momentum for all laer versions.
