Your interest is at the core of everything we do at Unacademy. We are delighted to inform you
that we have devised a new incentive structure that will help you earn more by referring more.
Stated below are the mediums through which Educators can get incentivised this month.

1. Special Class Live Learner Incentive

To encourage Live learning and motivate Educators to participate actively in the initiative, we
have introduced the Special Class Live Learner Incentive. Under the new structure, effective
from July 1, 2021, Educators of all K12 categories can earn INR 2,000 for every 250 Live
Learners (excluding Plus Subscribers) who attend their Special Classes.
For example: If you have 1,100 Live Learners in your Special Class (excluding Plus
Subscribers) in July, you’ll receive an incentive of INR 8,000
To help eliminate any doubts, let us explain who a Live Learner is – A Live Learner is a Learner
watching a Special Class (Live) for at least 15 minutes or more.

2A. Referral Bonus Plan

Educators will continue to receive 15% and 7.5 % referral amount whenever Learners use their
referral code to purchase a Plus or Iconic subscription respectively.
For example:
a) If a Learner uses Educator A’s code for getting the Plus Subscription, Educator A gets a 15%
referral bonus on the Plus component of the total subscription price (price before taxes).
b) If a Learner uses Educator A’s code for getting the Iconic Subscription, Educator A gets a
7.5% referral bonus on the Iconic component of the total subscription price (price before taxes).
For Example: If INR 100 is the overall final price (incl. taxes) for Plus and Iconic subscriptions,
then the pre-tax price is INR 100/1.18 = INR 85. Out of INR 85, if INR 60 is for the Plus
subscription and INR 25 is for the Iconic subscription, the referral bonus earned by Educator A =
15% of INR 60 + 7.5% of INR 25 = INR 9 + Rs. 2 = INR 11
Please note, this example is for illustrative purposes only, and should not be interpreted as
actual numbers.

2B. Additional Referral Bonus Plan

Suggestive to its name, the 'Additional Referral Bonus' will be over and above the regular
15% and 7.5% incentive that Educators are otherwise eligible for when Learners use their
referral code to purchase Plus and Iconic subscriptions respectively.
Here’s how the Additional Referral Bonus works:
If an Educator is successful in referring more Learners than he/ she did in their lifetime, then the
Educator will receive an extra 5% as bonus.
For example, if your highest revenue was INR 1 lakh previously and in July 2021, you bring in a
revenue of more than INR 1 lakh, then you will receive an additional incentive of 5%.

3. New User Unlock Incentive

Here’s what a ‘New User Unlock’ means – an Educator will achieve ‘New User Unlock’ when a
Learner uses his/her code to unlock free platform features. The incentive is such that, Educators
will receive a set amount of INR 8,000 for every 75 new unlocks.
For example, if you have 400 ‘New User Unlocks’ in July, you will earn INR 40,000 as a ‘New
User Unlock’ incentive.
Please note, this incentive structure is only applicable for the month of July and valid for
Creative Corner & Young Coders, CBSE Class 6,7 & 8, CBSE Class 9 & 10, CBSE Class 11 &
12, MH Board Class 9 & 10, MH Board Class 11 & 12, UP Board Class 9 & 10 and UP Board
Class 11 & 12 categories.
