    Dear Principal-

    My name is Troy Davis and I am the District Youth Director for the North Carolina District
    Council of the Assemblies of God. You are receiving this letter today because I need your help.
    Our annual Fall Youth Convention for the NC Assemblies of God Youth Ministry is November 3rd
    and 4th in Concord, North Carolina and you have students in your school who would like to
    participate in the youth convention. We are asking that those students who are wishing to
    participate in this religious event be granted an excused absence for Friday, November 3rd. If
