Step 2: Verify Prerequisite
Log the Software Version Information.
Log the Hardware Version Information. Log the Chassis Environment Information. Log the System Boot-Message Information. Log the Active Configuration. Log the Interfaces on the Switch/Router. Log the BGP, IS-IS, and OSPF Adjacency Information. Log the System Storage Information. Back Up the Currently Running and Active File System.
Step 3: Upload OS to device flash
Upload OS to device flash/storage through Gui or Ftp/tftp/Usb drive.
Step 4: Integrity Verification
Check md5 hash key.
Step 5 : Install OS in Switch/Router
Install OS in switch or router by Cli or Gui.
After install need to restart device.
Step 6: Verification
