Note 
1. Do not insert SIM card when you update software. 
2. Check software version in “setting>about phone>phone information” before updating, 
make sure it matches the version you want to update. 
3. This update tool can only works with Win7 or Win 8 system, and should use administrator 
mode to update. 
4. Check software version is normal or not after updating. 
 Step 
1. Install the driver. 
(1) Power off handset, press power key, after the phone vibrates, then press voice up key, the 
phone will enter download mode, interface as below:

 
(2) Connect USB cable and click  to install the driver. After install the 
driver successfully, you can find “WP8 UEFI UBS Simple I/O” port in device manager. As below: 

   
2. Update. 
(1) With Win7 or Win8 32 bit system, Open  in 
“MicrosftFFutool\32\ImageDesigner” file, with Win7 or Win8 64 bit system, open 
  in “MicrosftFFutool\64\ImageDesigner” file, then select “Flash a 
Windows Phone image onto your phone”, then click “Next” 
 
(2) Click “Change” and select “.FFU” file in software code. 

 
 
(3) Click “Flash” to start upgrade. 

 
 
(4) Complete upgrade.
