while and be alone, so you will have to go out on your own somewhere. You should
either explore the town, or go to the beach for a couple of hours. We will meet up
again at about 5 o'clock for dinner. Then I will want you to take me out for a drink, or

If I received 100,000 dollars, I would buy, I would campaign for them
to use bicycles or public transport instead of their cars, as this would
be a contribution to reduce global warming because doing this would
reduce carbon emissions. By using the bicycles, it would not only help
in the contribution to reduce the use of carbon but it would also help
in having better health. The less we use the cars the more we would
help. If I had that money, I would also help in the cultivation of trees
to be able to plant them since these trees would help reduce carbon
dioxide If you received $ 100,000 you would help farmers to use less
fertilizers and pesticides as this is another direct cause of global
warming. All these fertilizers and pesticides are high in nitrogen
oxide, which is even more harmful than carbon dioxide, that is why it
would help farmers to use organic fertilizers instead of these
pesticides.

home-made delicacies to simple traditional breads and pastas. In my experience, in the UK that onerous
task is left to the caterers! In the week leading up to the wedding there is a dinner or some form of
celebration every day - training for the stomach, I guess. I know that we have the traditional Bachelor party
and Bachelorette party, but this is more family orientated and certainly a little less rowdy. This particular
ceremony was in a beautiful country church and afterwards the couple was driven to the reception in a
wonderfully decorated classic Fiat 500, which was really similar to what happens in the UK, even down to
the string of tin cans trailing behind the car!
The reception itself was also very similar until I realized that the seven tables in the hall each sat sixty
guests (that's four hundred and twenty, for those of you who didn't study Math), an average number for
Sardinia but would be considered a very large wedding where I'm from.
The wine flowed, as did the chatter - the famous Italian exuberance showing itself to the full. There were
the five or six courses of wonderful food, screaming kids running wild, the ceremonial cutting of the cake
by the bride and groom - but no speeches! Not one. In the UK it's traditional for the father of the bride to
propose a toast, followed by the groom and finishing up with that of the best man. He is meant to be the
highlight of the lunch \ dinner, generally having a good laugh at the groom's expense, but here the groom
was spared that particular discomfort.
Instead there was a delightful custom which I'd never seen before, in which six or seven of the male guests
pass round the hall banging trays, drums, pots, pans or basically anything that makes a horrendous noise,
selling pieces of the groom's tie which has been cut into tiny bits. The money raised is then given to the
happy(!) couple to help them set up their new life together. Really nice. Finally, the evening saw a lot of
traditional dancing, a little disco dancing and some karaoke. Pretty much the part I like best, and again I
wasn't disappointed. Can't wait for the next one.

INTRODUCTION
The appearance of a virus named covid-19 led the vast majority of countries worldwide to
experience social confinement due to the severity of contagion that the virus presents in the
entire population, so the activities that were carried out in person They took another role,
which is to do it virtually using the new technological tools (moodle, google meet,
WhatsApp, zoom, etc.)

One of the most affected activities was face-to-face education, both in private and public
institutions, since during the appearance of this virus the agglomeration of people was
prohibited, since it can be a focus of massive contagion.

If the asynchronous communication services allowed both the teacher and the student to have
good communication and be effective when sharing information for teaching-learning, and
services such as WhatsApp, google meet, zoom that are synchronous and of knowledge and
interest of the young people living in the technological age, were a tool of great interest for
education and in this way it can be capitalized as a didactic tool that allows to simplify,
facilitate and improve teaching-learning in different areas of education.

Moodle, google meet, WhatsApp, zoon, etc. are technological tools that have had an impact
and have become a fundamental pillar in virtual education (e-learning) or tele-education,
especially in the faculty of basic general education, this has allowed that both teachers and
students have more direct communication at a distance and send study material in order to
continue with education, since current tools can provide an instant and fast service in this way
to be able to send text, audio, video , make video calls, images, create virtual classrooms etc.

The importance of this work has as its main objective to analyze the virtual edition (e-
learning) used in the basic general education career at the UTB, since due to the use of this
education and its technological tools, it is possible to continue with education in all its phases
without these being paralyzed, until there is a vaccine or drug that helps prevent and combat
the covid-19 virus, and thus be able to progressively return to classes in a traditional way

DEVELOPMENT
In today's knowledge society it has been evidenced that the use of information technologies
and communication (ICT) integrated into education have rapidly evolving, opening spaces in
different modes of teaching, these being face-to-face, bimodal, ubiquitous, personalized,
mobile, in the cloud, supported by ICT and virtual.

Considering this last environment for teaching, face-to-face and arises when the teacher uses
the media communicational, technological to generate options interaction synchronously as
asynchronous, that is, that the mediator and the learner interact in different times, mainly due
to internet access.

In support of educational changes in the century XXI, [ CITATION Coo05 \l 3082 ]indicates that
the media of the communication have revolutionized starting from the time from
correspondence to today. Where learning is flexible and open surrounded by resources or
objects of learning facilitated by mediation mechanisms.

That is why, in the last decades, virtual education has It has been in constant growth and
appears every time more as a necessity in the context of society where rapid changes
151
(economic, social, technological and cultural), increasing knowledge and demands up-to-date
education becomes a requirement permanent.

On the other hand, it has driven with great force everything related to the computer world and
at the moment today offers society a different way of accessing information and enable
communication [ CITATION cha08 \l 3082 ].

For his part, in educational practice he has been inclusive in the development of collaborative
and individual strategies such as support in learning processes. Highlighted with more
precision those activities that are made through asynchronous communication by Example:
email, virtual forums, chats among others.

Learning in educational settings aims that students acquire and develop knowledge, skills,
abilities, aptitudes to be used daily as an exercise in educational centers. Over time, different
definitions of the virtual learning. However, [ CITATION Rub03 \l 3082 ] citing[ CITATION Ros01 \l
3082 ]defines virtual learning as the use of internet-based technologies to provide a broad
deployment of solutions to enhance acquisition of knowledge and skills.

In this sense, [ CITATION Loz03 \l 3082 ]point out that education virtual is possible, if the use of
technological means is integrated as a communicational tool (asynchronous resources and
synchronous) that facilitates the exchange of knowledge between the student and the teacher.
In other words, the learner has the mediator 24 hours a day, to make a communication with
him at different times according to his availability.

The introduction of online learning in education goes further of the inclusion of ICT in
educational processes and has as pedagogical principle of interaction and continuity
developed by Dewey in 1938, [ CITATION Bae09 \l 3082 ].

Based on these principles, it is important to note that a pedagogical model in e-Learning must
focus on the teacher, student and in learning through interactivity (learning activities),
materials, assessment for the achievement of objectives in the learning process and not in the
use of ICT as main tool.

In this context [ CITATION Gar02 \l 3082 ]points out that the change that entails e-learning not
resides in the use of ICT but in the conception of training by the educator.

WhatsApp Messenger is an instant messaging application for smartphones, in which

messages are sent and received via the Internet, as well as images, videos, audios, audio
recordings, video calls.

Moodle is a learning management tool, or more specifically of Learning Content

Management, of free distribution

Google Meet is a videotelephony service developed by Google. It is one of the two

applications that make up the new version of Google Hangouts

Zoom Video, also known as the Zoom and Zoom application, is a virtual video and meeting
program, accessible from desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets.

152
CONCLUSION

Through the present study, it has been possible to conclude that as the covid-19 Appearance a
new student cycle approached, a cycle where the use of technology was required with greater
importance, which caused a significant change in the modality of teaching and learning that
was being used. The new modality known as virtual education would be implemented in
educational institutions nationwide, for which reason the Babahoyo Technical University was
not the exception, although this change has favored educational entities with the inclusion of
this teaching methodology through of tic and to optimize learning times, on the other hand, it
caused inconvenience to many students because a large majority of them did not have the
necessary resources to adapt this new modality and many others were unaware of the proper
use of tic , which includes as many students as teachers, in short, with the current student
cycle still in use, the use of tic has become a tool of utmost importance for the development
of teaching and learning in the midst of the health emergency that we live in. Today, for this
reason, adaptation to this new System is essential.
