Spell Your Name Workout
Spell Your Name Workout
For this workout we will be integrating spelling and math into this week’s
workout. I suggest doing this brief work out Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to
go along with the physical activity of your choice.
A rep is one movement- like one jumping jack. A set is a group of those movements.
Each day you do this workout you should add 5 more reps to each set. For example- on
Monday we will be doing 10 reps in each set. On Tuesday we will add 5 more to the set-
10+5=15. On Friday we will add 5 more reps to each set-, 15+5= 20.
We always begin with a warm up and end with a cool down.

Little vocabulary:
Triceps, the muscles in the back of your arm. Notice the
beginning of the word the prefix- “tri” tri means 3- like a
tricycle has 3 wheels.
Quadriceps- quad means 4. A quad racer has 4 wheels, your
quadriceps are the muscles in the front of your upper thigh.
There are 4 muscles that make up your quadriceps.
Biceps- think of a bicycle. How many wheels are on a bicycle?
That’s how many muscles make up your biceps- those are the
muscles in the front of your upper arms.
Please make sure that you do this work out 3 times this week and
add it to your fitness log- to go along with all the other fun stuff
you are doing.
