TO: All High School Coaches, Middle School PE Teachers, and Junior Football

Coaches
FROM: Coach Redmond and the Football Staff at Deerfield Beach High School
SUBJECT: 1st Annual Free Football Clinic, “The Clinic of Champions” Sat., April 26, 2003

Coach,
The time is almost upon us, Spring Practice. The staff and I at Deerfield Beach have decided that we are having
a Football Clinic, and we are inviting some of the best minds in Broward, Dade, and the college level. Each
coach is a specialist in their area. The idea is to share knowledge and technique to improve the total program.
We have some of the finest coaches around – let’s learn more from one another.
I have been blessed to have an underwriter to make it possible for us to offer this clinic for free. Please bring
your staff and let’s share knowledge to upgrade our programs. There will be two sessions at once: Offense and
Defense / Special Teams / Athletic Training. Athletic Training speakers will give tips on dealing with the heat
and preventative measures toward athletic injuries. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please encourage
your staff to attend. Also, there will be athletic vendors on display.
Thank you for your time, God Bless!
Hope to see you and your staff,

Please contact me at (954) 481-5600 to give me a number that will be attending from your staff. Thanks.

Objectives of the Clinic:

1. To share knowledge and discuss the latest techniques in the game.
2. To improve in the development of the total program at your school.
3. To improve the technique skill of the staff.
4. To help improve in practice organization.
5. To develop a sound approach to teaching offense, defense, and the kicking game.
6. To have better communication with staff.
7. To place our student-athletes in an environment for winning.
8. To gain a greater respect for our peers.
