COURSE CURRICULUM
1. RATIONALE
This course will enable students to develop the skills required to use basic analog electronics
devices and circuits. Through the study of this course the students will understand the
construction, working, characteristics and applications of various types of electronics
components like UJT, JFET, MOSJFET and circuits such as feedback amplifier, oscillators,
power Amplifiers, operational amplifier and timer using linear ICs.
2. COMPETENCY
The course content should be taught and implemented with the aim to develop different types
of skills leading to the achievement of following competency:
Analyse analog circuits consisting of active electronic components.
Note: It is the responsibility of the institute heads that marks for PA of theory and ESE and PA of
practical for each student are entered online into the GTU Portal at the end of each semester within
the dates specified by GTU
