BUSINESS POLICIES

Provided below are the business policies that Global Sun implements:

 Dress Code Policy

Global Sun requires that employees dress neatly and appropriately at all times
and that they maintain adequate personal hygiene. Wearing of office uniforms are
required at all times within the premise. The company allow female staff to wear jewelry
but we urge that staff please remove visible body piercings during work hours.

 Performance Review Policy


As Global Sun aims for an exceptional service offered, there are certain
performance required for employees to meet such as: (1) complete all job
responsibilities; (2) follow the company’s code of conduct; (3) be open for new learnings

 Confidentiality Policy
Information with regards to the company should be treated with utmost
confidentiality as per the confidentiality policy of Global Sun. Data of Customers/Partners
as well as dtaa entrusted by external parties are considered to be highly confidential.

 Equal Opportunity and Anti-Discrimination Policy


Discrimination is prohiited in Global Sun ay it be with employees or customers
and aims to promote equality. Everyone should be treated equally and respectedly.
Respect for diversity should be practiced.
SALES POLICIES
Global Sun aims to provide service that’ll satisfy the need for renewable energy
source for an afforable rate thus the policy statements below is provided to meet the
needs of the company as well as the customers and complies with all statutory and
regulatory requirements. 
The company’s Sales Policy are as follows:
 Our goal is to deliver the products and services as promised thus it is
expected for us to perform well to meet the needs and even exceed the
expectations of the customers as their satisfaction comes to be the top
priority.
 To continually strive for improvement when it comes to our services and
management system. Monitoring the company’s performance to better
serve the market shall be practiced all throughout.
HR POLICIES
Below is the HR Policies established by Global Sun:

 Absenteeism and Tardiness Chart


Daily attendance is important as well as going to work on-time. The expected time-in
of employees should not be later than 8 am as the Global Sun open at 8 am closes at 5pm
from Monday to Fridays. However, emergency personal time is granted for employees in
such furtuitous events including doctor appointments, death in the family, personal illness,
and etc.

 Medical Leave Policy


Global Sun grants employees a paid time off for cases in which they are sick.
Providing medical certificate and filing a medical leave is necessary to be able to acquire
the said benefit.

 Cellphone Policy
Employees are prohibited from using smartphone, cellohone, or other similar
devices during working hours. This includes receiving or placing calls, text messaging,
surfing the internet except during lunch breaks.

 Drug Testing/Screening Policy


To maintain a healty and safe work place, prohibition of smoking within the area
is a must. On top of that, employees should not be taking nor selling drugs as Global
Sun is a drug-free workplace. To ensure this, drug testing/screening will be conducted
every 6 months.
JOB DESCRIPTION, QUALIFICATION, AND SPECIFICATION
Since Global Sun is just a newly established company, the following are the staffs at
which may increase and grow overtime:

 General manager
A general manager is a leader who can coordinate all aspects of the
organization's operations. This person usually speaks multiple languages and has
experience in all areas of finance, accounting, human resources, and sales.
Becoming a general manager can be challenging and requires various skills and
credentials. Some of these include education and experience.
o With the right education, general managers can become successful in their roles
thus one must possess a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree.
o General managers typically have deep experience in the industry.

 Accounting Manager
Accounting managers play key roles in the department's operations, which
include preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports. They are also
responsible for identifying and implementing changes within the organization.
Accounting managers generally have a bachelor's degree in finance or
accounting and have several years of experience. They are also certified as a public
accountant. Qualifications for the said position also includes:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
o 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a
supervisory role
o Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems.

 Marketing Manager
Marketing managers develop strategies to promote various products and
services. Their duties include overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional
campaigns. Also keeping the company up the trends and informed of marketing
strategies.
Requirement to be a marketing manager are the following:
o Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or similar field.
o Having a master’s degree is advantageous
o With atleast 2 years of experience in the field
o With extensive knowledge when it comes to marketing strategies, channels, and
branding.
 Operations Manager
The Operations Manager is primarily responsible for implementing the right
processes and procedures across the organization. This role will also play a vital role in
developing and implementing strategies and implementing best practices.
Below are the requirement for an operations manager position:
o Bachelor’s degree in operations management or any similar major in business
administration
o With atleast 2 years of experience in the field
o With solid understanding of financial management
o With excellent leadership and communication skills

 Production Manager
The Manufacturing Manager helps plan and direct the flow of materials and
equipment in a facility. This individual also works with other team members to develop
effective production plans.
Qualifications for a production/manufacturing manager are as follows:
o Bachelor’s degree preferred in business management, manufacturing or
engineering; with 2+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing
environment
o Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. Lift and/or move objects
weighing up to 50 pounds.
o Broad knowledge of plant operations and technology is necessary; and has good
leadership skills
