10.Atajos para Aprender Español.

Many students and friends have asked me what they can do to learn Spanish.
I believe that the key to learning a language is to live it and make it a part of
your daily routine. I've put up a list of 10 tips for learning Spanish.

1.Embrace your culture:

Explore and learn about the Spanish language by going to restaurants run by
Hispanics in the city, listening to their music, visiting museums or exhibitions,
learning about their traditions and celebrations, and sharing with friends who
speak Spanish or making new friends.
2.View Spanish-language films, series, and programs:

Viewing Spanish-language television or going to the movies will allow you to

become more familiar with the language and hear pronounciation and entonation.
To make things easier for you, I recommend starting with movies you've already
seen.

3.Listen to Spanish-language conversations, radio, audiobooks,

podcasts, and netcasts:

There are a variety of radio programs, excellent audiobooks, and podcasts on a

variety of topics for all tastes and levels of Spanish; all you have to do is make a
Google search.

4.Listen to Spanish music:

Put music on in the car or at home using Pandora, Spotify, Itunes, or another app of
your choice, print the lyrics, and sing. This will allow you to practice your
pronunciation while listening to music and relaxing.

5.Read and write in Spanish:

Reading is very important, and if you choose it, I recommend that you read books
that you have already read and enjoyed, as this will aid in your comprehension of
the new language. Begin with reading comics, short stories, simple lectures, the
newspaper, revistas, and interesting blogs. Read in a loud voice and scribble to
improve your pronounciation. Make sopas of letras by writing down words,
phrases, and taking notes on what you've learned.

2
If you have a higher level, you can use your phone or computer to communicate in
Spanish. You can also do crucigrams, play Boggle or Scrabble with a
Spanish-speaking friend, or play scrabble online.

Change the langu

age on your mobile phone to Spanish.

6.Takes ELE (English as a Foreign Language) classes:

You can choose a native speaker or someone who is truly bilingual and
understands not just the language but also the culture. To properly teach a
language, you must have lived with it on a daily basis. It is also critical that this
professor be accompanied by good ELE material that is motivating. I prefer
face-to-face classes to online classes or online courses because, in my experience,
face-to-face instruction is much more effective and motivating than distance
instruction. After all, it's about learning a language, and the best way to learn a
language is to make it a social and experiential activity with as much interaction as
possible.

If your partner or friends are Hispanohablant, they can teach you using the Clases
Listas material. They only need to download, print, and they'll be able to teach you
Spanish without much difficulty, because the classes are specifically designed by
professors of Spanish as a foreign language to help other Hispanohablantes teach
Spanish, and they explain how to do so from beginning to end.

7.Recite and practice the language:

Similarly, a loro will not stop you from repeating the new vocabulary you've learned.
Leave the vertigo at home and speak Spanish whenever you can. Repetition and
practice are essential for learning a new language, so speak Spanish whenever you
have the chance, whether it's in your own country at a location where the language
is spoken, with a friend or coworker, or when traveling to a Spanish-speaking
country.

8.Make your own dictionary:

Make your own dictionary with the vocabulary and expressions you're learning by
using a phone book. You'll be surprised at how quickly your vocabulary grows, and
you'll be able to consult it whenever you see a word you recognize but don't know
the meaning of.

9.Use the following apps to practice your Spanish:

There are some fantastic applications available now, such as Duolinguo, Bussu, and
Babbel. They're great for brushing up on your Spanish, complementing your
existing classes, and learning new words. Duolinguo allows you to set aside the
amount of time you want to devote to learning each day and is completely free;
Bussu offers a few free courses after which you must pay; and Babbel offers a few
free classes after which you must pay.

10.Respect your learning pace and enjoy learning Spanish:

Nobody learns a language in a single day, so set realistic goals to ensure that the
process is enjoyable and not frustrating.
