1. In your last letter, you told me you moved to YOUR NEW FLAT.

and tell me what your new home is like. Is it in a similar place? What do you like
best about it?
Dear Peter,
Hope you and your family are doing well. According to the previous letter, I
and my family had moved to the new flat in the center of HN capital. (As I told
you in the previous letter that I and my family had moved to the new flat in the
center of HN capital). It is about 5 kilometers from my old place.
My new flat is a bit bigger than the old one. It is a 2-story building with a
smal basement and a ping-pong table for me and my brother. In front of the flat,
there is a smart garden with some beautiful flower and huge tree next to the fence.
The new flat has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and living room. Besides, it has a smart
kitchen equipmented with state-of-the-art facilities. On the second floor, there is a
small balcony with some plants, where I can observe the sky everynight after a
long day working in the office and drink a cup of coffee. It sounds very interesting,
doesn’t it?
(Walls are painted with light blue and the floor is tiles with the wood. Interiors are
also quiter modern and well-designed. Overall, the house is pretty spacious and
confortable. What I like best here is that there is not only a big gymnasium but also
a shopping center near my house. Therefore, I can go there everyday.
I love the quiet and peaceful atmosphere here. I can hear the birds chirping and feel
the fresh air. However, there aren’t any markers, shops, or even schools nearby. I
have not many neighbors here but the people living here are very friendly and
humorous.
We are very happy here, please come round and see us some time

2. It was YOUR BIRTHDAY last week and you went out with some friends to
celebrate. Tell your friend where you went and say something about the people
who were with you and how you felt.
Dear Alice,
Hope you and your family are doing well. Do you know that I had a
wonderful 22nd last week? My parents wanted me to have a good time with my
friends so they made a reservation at a reputable restaurant in the city center.
It was held in the evening, and all my friends were invited. The room was
decorated with balloons, streamers and blink light. A special birthday cake was
ordered for me. It was a chocolate cake with juicy cherries on the top.
We ate and drank together, they all sang birthday song then I blew out
candles and cut the cake. We played some mini games and everyone sang and
danced. At the end of the party, I received a lot of nice presents and cards. The
present I like best is a smartwatch given by my closet friend. I’ve wanted it for a
long time. This was the most memorable and value gift for me. It was the first time
I had had a extremely brilliant time with my friends outside like that.
How was your last birthday party? I am sure that it was fun.

3. I know I spend too much time watching TV! HOW MUCH TV do you watch?
What else do you do to relax?

I am very happy to receive your letter. You said that you spent too much
time watching TV. That is not good for you. I like watching TV programs too but I
just spend about an hour a day watching the news and films.
Besides watching TV, I am able to do many things to relax.
I alos enjoy listening to music, I like all kinds of music, especially pop and
EDM.
In my spare time, I would like to walk in the park, I feel relax when walking
along the road in the morning.
I often go swimming twice a week. There is a large pool at my university.
 Sometime, I go out with my friend. We go somewhere to discover and take
many photos.
At the weekend, we go to a quiet café to relax after a tiring week of work
and I also read a lot.
There are so many things which are more interesting then watching TV. You
should take time to do them and tell me about it as soon as psossible.

4. My family and I are going to your country next summer for a two-week
HOLIDAY. What places should we visit? What is the best way to travel around?
Dear Alice,
Hope you and your family are doing well. I am very happpy to hear that
your family are going to my country next summer.
In VN, there are a lot of interesting places to visit.
First, you should come to HN, where you can try some delicious food and
explore the culture of our capital. When you come here, you can rent a hotel room
which is not far from my house.
From HN, it is a good idea to go to the HLB . It is one of the World’s
Natural Wonder. Then you should fly to Nha Trang to enjoy beautiful beachs and
seafood. HCM city should be the last destination. You can go shopping and enjoy
the exciting nightlife there.
The best way to travel around the city is by taxi. It is cheap and safe.

5. A NEW RESTAURANT has just opened in my town and it's wonderful. Have
you got a favorite restaurant? Tell me about the food and what you like about the
restaurant.

I am very happy to receive your letter.
 I also have a favorite restaurant to eat out. It is only about 1 Kilometer from
my house, so I often go there with my friends or my family.
This restaurant serves many types of food such as Vietnamese, Chinese and
Korean dishes. On special occasions like Christmas and New year , they serve
other special menus as well.
It is a 4-story building and has a parking underground and a small garden in
front of the ground floor. The architecture of the building looks good from the
outside and the decoration is eye-catching also. The light blue color of the wall, the
opulent wooden furniture, the painting of the wall and the nice arrangement of
interiors make it very beautiful and gorgeous.
What I like best about this restaurant are the delicious foods they serve and
the quiet and healthy environment they offer.
