“Gamitin ang wika upang ipahayag ang konsepto ng mga bagay na iyong sinuri o sinubok sa buhay.

Being the speaker during the Filipino Program of LNHS, Humorous Ph. Dr. Winston Ros, a
director at BSU, stressed the importance of the Filipino Language as a dialect of the exploration on
knowledge as with the theme, “Filipino; Wika ng Saliksik”.

“Wika ng saliksik, kayo ay dapat magtuklas, magsagawa ng pag-aaaral sa mga bagay bagay na sa tingin
niyo ay mahalagang pagtuunan niyo ng pansin. (Language of Exploration on Knowledge, you research,
do your learnings from things that you think is important to you.)” he said.

Ros also stated, “Kung may problema, saliksikin, huwag agad-agad magkaroon ng konklusyon (If
you have problem, research on it, Don’t be too quick in deciding its conclusion)”.

As a part of the program, the school presided competitions promoting the different information
on the Philippine Language specifically the Info-Wall (information wall) competed between the grade 12,
Info-Mance (Information Performance), grades 11. Dance Competitions were for the grades 7 and 8;
Polka and Tiklos for the grades 9-10; Parade of the Philippine Symbols (parada ng pambansang sagisag)
with poem recital. The competition was played by each section in the same grade level.

As for the winners, Info-Wall; Grade 12 SMAW A, Info-mance; Grade 11 ABM A, parade of the
Philippine Symbols with poem recital; Grade 9 SSC, Polka: Grade 8 SPA, and in the Tiklos Competition
the grade 7 SPA victoriously won.
