b) Application for admission to all the above Academic Programmes shall be through Online
Mode only. There is no other means of application.

3. How to Submit Online Applications:
For submission of the Online Applications, the intending candidates are advised to follow the
following procedure:
a. The candidate shall be required to register in the Online Admission Portal given in the
website- www.dibru.ac.in by entering Full Name, Password and a Mobile Number. The
candidate will get an OTP in the Mobile Number which is to be entered for Activation.
b. After Activation, the candidates shall be required to login by entering his/ her Mobile
Number and password.
c. The applicants shall be required to pay the Application Fee of Rs. 500/- only through the
online payment gateway by using Debit (ATM) Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking during
the submission of the Application Form. No other mode of payment is acceptable.
d. The applicants can save and review the information entered before submission, which can be
edited on subsequent login. However, after submission, editing of information shall not be
possible.
e. On successful submission of the Online Application Form with Payment of Application Fee,
the Candidates will get a Fee Payment Receipt. The Candidates should take a print out of
the Payment Receipt and Application Form to produce before the relevant departmental
Office of the University whenever asked to do the same.
f. The Submission of Online Applications shall be automatically closed after the stipulated date and time.
g. No individual letter will be issued and sent to the candidates regarding any matters of
Admission process. Candidates are advised to visit the University website www.dibru.ac.in
regularly for any relevant information.
4. Selection procedure:
a. The Selection of eligible candidates shall be on merit basis and/ or Selection Test as per the
criteria fixed by the University.
b. The List of Selected Candidates shall be purely provisional and subject to verification by the
concerned offices of the University.
5. Admission procedure:
a. The admission of the selected candidates shall be done as per the information of the
subsequent notifications. The requisite Admission Fees, Course Fees shall have to be paid
within the stipulated date(s).
b. Statutory Reservation Policy shall be followed in preparation of the List of Provisionally
Selected Candidates.
c. The University shall guide the provisionally selected candidates for admission with detailed
instruction in due course of time.
d. The Fee Structure of the various Academic Programmes shall be notified along with the
selected list of candidates.
e. The selection of the candidates for admission shall be purely provisional and confirmation is
subject to verification of original documents by the concerned offices.

Annexure A
The Centre has very good facilities including Intellectual Resources, Computing Resources, Learning
Resources and other Learning Infrastructure. There are 15 highly qualified teachers in the Centre
including 7 PhDs. Learning resources include 4200+ books, 25+ Print Journals / Periodicals along with
a number of online journals / periodicals. It is totally computerized with reprographic and other
facilities available. Computing Resources include a Computer Lab. Other Learning infrastructure
includes a Language Lab. The premises of the Centre is Wi-Fi enabled.
All classrooms have audio-visual infrastructure. There is a 100 capacity Auditorium along with smart
classroom infrastructure in a Seminar Hall. The Centre has been providing accommodation facilities
for male students with 56 single rooms in its own hostel. Female students are being accommodated
in the University hostels. The Centre has a full-fledged Training and Placement (T&P) Cell to look
after the Training and Placement needs of the students. The Alumni Association, Samannay, also
provides support in training and recruitment.

Applications in prescribed form are invited for admission to the following courses for the session
2021-22:
1. (a) Pass in Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination (Science) of the Assam Higher
Secondary Education Council or any other examination recognized by the Dibrugarh
University as equivalent to this examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and
Biology/Mathematics as the subjects. Admission will be on the merit basis
considering 50% marks obtained in PCB/PCM in 10+2 examination and 50%
from Science, Mathematics and English in Secondary Examination (only for the
session 2021-22).
OR
(b) Pass in Two-year Diploma- in Pharmacy examination from any institute of Assam
recognized by the PCI and AICTE.
(B) Seats under State Sponsored Category of North-Eastern States other than
Assam:
The seats under this category shall be filled up with the candidates sponsored by the
concerned North-Eastern States other than Assam with eligibility conditions as stated
in para (a) above.
(C) Seats under Endowment Category: Candidates from any State with eligibility
conditions
as stated in para (a) above may apply and will be selected on the basis of merit.
D) Admission against vacant seats of B. Pharm. 1st year through lateral entry in B.
Pharm. 3rd semester with D. Pharm. qualification under Endowment Category:
No. of vacant seats: 08
Candidates from any State with Two-year Diploma- in Pharmacy from any institute
recognized by the PCI and AICTE. Selection will be based on merit and performance
in the
interview.

selected on the basis of merit.
Additional Information for Admission to B. Pharm 1st semester at Dibrugarh
University, Session 2021-22:
The intake of candidates (50 nos.) from different States and against different categories is as
follows:
1. Candidates seeking admission against seats reserved for S.C/ S.T must submit
certificate of caste issued by the Competent Government authorities.
2. For the reserved seats ‘Wards of Assam Rifles Personnel’, the candidates have to send
copy of bonafide certificate from competent authority through email to the following
email id: officepharmsc@dibru.ac.in. In case of non availability of the candidates
the seats will be opened for General Category students.
3. Incomplete or late receipt of applications will not be entertained.
4. Sort Listed candidates will be called for counselling at the Department of
Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University. No TA/DA is admissible for the
purpose.
5. The selected applicants shall have to take admission on the date of counselling by
paying the necessary admission fee through online mode only (internet
banking/debit card/ credit card etc.) as shown below:
(A) State Category : ₹ 6,098/- per year approx.
(B) Endowment Category : ₹ 48,698/- per year approx
(C) Hostel Admission fee (If allotted) : ₹ 2,900/- per year approx
6. Candidates selected for hostel seat must take hostel admission on the specified date.
7. Statutory Reservation Policy shall be followed as per the rules of the University.
8. Schedule for Declaration of Merit List and Admission: Shall be notified by the
Department later on.

Eligibility:
Candidates having passed Higher Secondary (10+2) examination securing minimum
of 45% marks in aggregate with Mathematics / Commercial Arithmetic /Statistics as one of
the subjects in 10+2, wherein pass mark is a must. The candidates must have to pass the 10+2
examinations before the commencement of end semester examination of the 1 st semester.
Relaxation of 5% marks will be given to the candidates of reserved categories.
Admission Procedure:
Candidates eligible for admission shall be selected on merit basis. The merit list will
be displayed at the office of Centre for Computer Science and Applications, D.U. and in the
websites: www.dibru.ac.in and www.ccsdu.in
Important Note: The University shall not verify the eligibility of a candidate at the time of
receiving their Application Forms. However, the candidate shall not be

considered at the time of admission to the BCA Programme conducted by
Dibrugarh University if he / she fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria.
Hence, the intending candidates are requested to ensure themselves
regarding fulfillment of the minimum eligibility for admission into the

two years at a supervisory level in any organization. Self-employed persons having the above-
mentioned qualification and experience may also apply. Candidates except the self-employed
