procedure has been unsuccessful, lack of clarity in the RFQ that leads to discrepancy in the bids where the goods and services and
prices proposed cannot be compared, funding ending, being canceled or reduced; force majeure, and other reasons that the
Samaritan’s Purse tender committee would find valid.

The supplier should be ready to deliver the requested quantity of the fruit saplings in September, but the delivery schedule will
E be provided after the date of signing the contract. If needed, Samaritans Purse has the right to extend the delivery date.

Each sapling should be delivered as one sapling in separate plastic bag or pot. The saplings should be pre-established inside
individual pots at least for two months before delivery. Saplings should NOT be freshly transplanted in pots before delivery. Each
F sapling should have a healthy shoot with green leaves and a distinct central stem.

Shortlisted suppliers would be required to submit samples of each fruit sapling types and provide a certificate for the varieties
and country of origin for each of the fruit saplings prior to their final selection. Upon confirmation of the bid selection, the
G saplings at the time of delivery must match the sample submitted and the certificate for the country of origin must also be
provided.

All saplings will have varying ages after they have been grafted, minimum heights and minimum girth of the main trunk. The fig
sapling should be (2 years old, not less than 2 meters tall and 12mm girth) and The Olive sapling should be (2 years old, not less
than 2 meters tall and 15mm girth). The height of the sapling should be measured above ground level / pot level / graft bud
excluding the under soil root zone (see the reference picture in annexure).
Saplings should be free from any insects, pests or diseases and must be grafted saplings with visible distinct rootstock and scion.

Supplier should confirm the availability of range of sapling count on the RFQ, final number of each fruit type shall be made known
upon finalizing the bid (Olive Tree Sapling: 5,400) and (Fig Tree Sapling: 5,400). These are the maximum numbers of saplings, SP
may change the quantities of saplings while finalizing the bid.

Transportation cost should include delivery based on the following: Delivery will have up to 54 different locations. Each
beneficiary will receive between 150 and up to 200 trees/saplings. There will be 54 locations/villages in North Sinjar, South Sinjar
and Sinjar Mountain. The locations will be determined by Samaritan's Purse after beneficiary selection is finalized

The company is responsible for any checkpoint requirements for delivery to 54 locations/villages in North Sinjar, South Sinjar and
Sinjar Mountain. The delivery must be done in a closed vehicle as per norms of transporting live young saplings. Adequate care
must be taken during the transit to avoid direct sunlight and high temperature to the saplings. The dried saplings will not be
