Summer Fun
Join us for our annual summer barbecue on
July 8th. This event is for all 4th-6th grade
students to meet their new classmates and
teachers. We hope to see you there!

Bring Your Appetite

This barbecue will be hosted by all of the
4th-6th grade teachers, so parents don’t worry
about bringing your favorite dish! We will
be providing burgers, hot dogs, fruits and
veggies, along with pasta and potato salads.
So, be sure to bring your appetite!
Summer Reading
Starting July 10th, we will be having weekly
summer reading sessions. We like to have
these sessions for students who are eager to
read in the summer. I let the student choose
whichever appropriate books they like and
then have them tell me all about the book
once they have finished reading it. This is a
fun way for students to still be reading over
the summer.
Other Events
This July we will also be hosting the 4th
grade summer camp and basketball 3 on 3
tournament. The summer camp is for 4th
grade students only and we will be taking a
day trip to the Ashland Science Fair. This
give students the opportunity to check out
the science fair if they have not been able to
go before, or just to go again for another fun
trip. The 3 on 3 tournament will be the
weekend of July 29th. It will be a 2 day event
from 8 A.M.- 3 P.M.

This July is a very busy month for families, and we understand if students are unable to make all
of the events going on. We encourage families and students to come to as many events as they
can! So, we hope to see you this month!
