to begin Kirsten Zee’s debut party in a few minutes. So please take your respective

INTRODUCTION

JEMICA: When a girl turns 18

KENNETH: She transforms into a lady.

JEMICA: Beautiful young lady, she’ll come out to be from this enchanting
metamorphosis of glorious wonders and fantastic possibilities you could ever imagine.
For after seventeen years of existence, comes this moment of reality as she’s now
“lady” enough to embark on a new journey.

KENNETH: At 18, she unlocks the other side of the world, and yet she’ll stand on her
two feet prepared to all of which it has to offer- it’s enormous challenges and some
precious opportunities that come in a diamond rough.

JEMICA: And of legal age, touched with independence, bound by responsibility, and
guided with wisdom, she takes on this fitting rite of life- womanhood.

KENNETH: With you, her family-

KENNETH: Friends,

BOTH: Ladies and gentlemen, bear witness to this remarkable transformation of our
dearest darling jewel, Kirsten!

KENNETH: We have so many things in store not only for her but of course for all of our
guests tonight so please do sit back, relax, and let us all together celebrate the coming
of age at its best. Once again, good evening everybody. My name is Kenneth Gabion.

JEMICA: I am Jemica Magbanua. And we will be your hosts for this magical evening.

JEMICA: We would like to remind everyone to practice safety protocols as we celebrate

Kirsten’s birthday tonight by minimizing physical contact, using face masks whenever
necessary, and practicing physical distancing and hand sanitization.

OPENING REMARKS

KENNETH: Now, moving on to the program. They say family is the utmost force of love
and affection because they are the people who will never leave you behind, the people
who will never let you down, and of course they give the unconditional love that no other
person perhaps could ever give.

JEMICA: And for tonight, to welcome us all in this big celebration, may we call on one
of the people who have been the wind beneath the wings of our dear Kirsten, ______.

JEMICA: Thank you so much ____, we are all glad to hear it from you. May we also
take this opportunity to thank you and your family for inviting us to be the hosts of this
momentous occasion.

DEBUTANTE’S ENTRANCE

KENNETH: And now, it’s undeniable that we are all looking forward to see the dazzling
debutante as she graces the world with a new chapter in her life.

JEMICA: Guests, friends, ladies and gentlemen, it is with our distinct pleasure to
introduce to all of you for the very first time, the cause for this grand celebration and the
reason why we are all gathered here tonight. Ladies and gentlemen without further ado,
let us all stand as we welcome the debutante as a woman of grandeur. Let us give a
resounding applause for Ms. Kirsten Zee De Castro.

KENNETH: Such a spectacular grand entrance by our debutante. May I say that you
look stunning in that gown, Kirsten. It fits you very well. Whoever helped you select that
garment must have a really good taste in apparels.

PRAYER

JEMICA: May we request everyone to please remain standing. Let us acknowledge

God’s presence tonight so as we would like to thank Him for all the blessings He has
bestowed to our dear Kirsten and of course to all of us. The offering of our prayers
tonight will be led by the sister of the debutante. May we call on Karylle Gray De Castro.

JEMICA: Thank you very much Karylle. Everyone, you may take your seats.

ICE BREAKER

KENNETH: Some of us may have been fortunate enough to witness Kirsten grow and
blossom into such a gorgeous young lady as she is now.

JEMICA: But for the sake of those who may have not witnessed her transformation,
let’s do this icebreaker.
KENNETH: Who is Kirsten in the real sense of word? Of course aside from being the
kind and responsible daughter, friend or classmate maybe, there are things that some
people know but not known to others.

Everyone, make sure to participate because we have an amazing prize awaiting the

DANCE PERFORMANCE

JEMICA: For everyone’s entertainment, Sabine and Agatha have prepared a wonderful
dance performance that will surely make everyone move and groove. Everybody,
please give them a big round of applause.

18 CANDLES

KENNETH: Now, let us move on to the first 18 of the program.

Candles often reveal a sense of mystery and supernatural guidance. It enlightens,

enlivens, whispers secrets, comforts, and ultimately connects. No matter how thick the
darkness, the light of one candle conquers it. No matter how solitary one flame is, it is
never alone or lonely for its light knows no boundaries and touches eternity.

JEMICA: At this juncture, we will now introduce the 18 wishers that are close to the
heart of our debutante, and whom she listens and confides to for inspiring words and
friendly advice. As we call your name, please be on stage, light your candle, and give a

JEMICA: As tradition would have it, cakes give us an idea of the nourishment a birthday
celebrator gets. It's a nourishment in all forms. At this point, may we request everybody
to please stand and let us all sing the traditional Happy Birthday song to our gorgeous
debutante.

JEMICA: Sorry for the intrusion in the continuous flow of our celebration but I would like
to announce that we will have our dinner this time. After the dinner, the family would like
to request everybody to please remain for a while for the continuation of our program.

JEMICA: Once again, a sumptuous evening to all of you. While some of you are still

KENNETH: Roses… embraced with symbolisms and metaphors, they touch the heart
and soul of the ladies. They speak volumes of meanings in its most vivid color. And by
its darling beauty, it has always meant and continues to be the messenger of love,
passion, desire, and respect. In the debut tradition, it has also been a vehicle for the

Tonight has been an undeniably memorable evening for Kirsten as we all can
see there’s nothing but happiness and contentment within her eyes. The joy of
celebrating her 18th birthday is truly amazing. And with your presence and your words,
her beloved family and friends have truly made this celebration of her life a moment to
cherish and to value. At this point, we are giving the floor to our lovely debutante to
express her gratitude. Let’s clap our hands together for Kirsten.

CLOSING REMARKS

KENNETH: More than any words, Kirsten indeed has evolved into a lovely young lady.
Her growth was an amazing, exciting journey to the richness of her present state. In this
richness of her existence, there were people who constantly guided and nourished her
to design the life she has now and how she desires it to be.
