Real Estate

Majority of real estate agents have a day full of business meetings, phone calls, computer

full of emails, etc. Agents meet new people, see new places, and respond to the changing needs

of buyers and sellers which often means shifting gears last minute. Many people enjoy being a

realtor do to meeting and seeing new people. How hard could it be to become a realtor? It is not

as hard as people make it seem it is just very time consuming.

The professional skills and abilities you need to be successful in this career is having very

good customer service. Many people lack in that because the customer could be very difficult

which requires you to have a lot of patience. Another skill is to be a good salesperson. To be a

good salesperson you have to know how to conversate with people and create relationships with

them. You also have to be willing to put your time and effort into becoming a realtor because it

takes time.

You don't need college classes to become a realtor, but you do need to take online

classes. There are some classes you could go to that are located in Anaheim CA as well. After

you finish are your classes you have to get training from a realtor. You don't start making good

salary until you are 8-12 months into this career. Every area is different, it all really just depends

on how fast houses are selling in your area. Starting salary just depends on how many houses you

are selling but through time you start building your clients and connections which helps you

grow.

The careers closest to real estate is probably sales. They're both the same because you

make money off of commission. They are different because you have to sell and show houses to

your buyer. This could be a field that is declining depending on the economy because we depend

on clientele for the salary. And if houses are not selling or being sold there is no Commission to

the realtor

In conclusion, I believe I will be successful in this career due to my good customer

service and patience. I'm also bilingual which is a good quality to have working in any field I

believe. I also have excellent leadership skills and also have a strong multi-tasking skill which

will come in handy when there are last minute changes. Being reliable to your clients is a good

ability to have because sometimes they call you at random times other day and you have to be

there to answer it just in case there is something then is to be changed. Being organized with

your paperwork is also a good skill to have because many realtors could end up having a lot of

paperwork and can not find the file they need to work on.
