High Range Free Chlorine

DR 900 Analytical Procedure AP-109/900

SPECIFICATIONS
Method: Colorimetric (DR 900)
Range: 0.00 to 4.00 ppm chlorine
Testing Time: 10 minutes

DESCRIPTION
The range of analysis using the DPD method for
free chlorine can be extended by adding more
indicator in proportion to sample volume. Thus,
a larger fill powder pillow of DPD Free Chlorine
Reagent is added to a 10 mL sample portion.

ORDERING INFORMATION
Order all replacement parts and reagents by their
part numbers. To be sure this product is compatible
with your treatment program, contact your local Nalco DR 900 Colorimeter
Nalco representative. Items marked with an “*”
are included with the kit or set. To place your

department.
SAMPLING AND STORAGE
Analyze samples for chlorine immediately after
collection. Free chlorine is a strong oxidizing agent,
