DESCRIPTION
The Nalco Total System Conformance (TSC)
DR 900 Procedure was developed to accurately
measure the level of treatment in your cooling
water system. Reliable and simple, the test makes
it easy to perform the daily analysis needed to
maintain the proper product dosage. The Nalco-
developed method features state-of-the-art
chemistry and is virtually free from common
interferences that can complicate testing.

INTERFERENCES
Iron and/or copper above 2 ppm will interfere and
cause low results.
Strong reducing agents such as H2S or SO3 may
interfere with results, causing them to appear low.
High residual chlorine levels can cause low
readings.

TOTAL SYSTEM CONFORMANCE (TSC) DR 900 PROCEDURE

Special Note: This test must be run prior to slug chlorination.

reported in the blank

when running the TSC
test. Turbidity in both the

indicates an interfering
level of zinc. Dilute the
filtered sample and run
the test. The turbidity will
disappear.
