N-1250, N-1250 PLUS

DR 900 Analytical Procedure AP-21/900

SPECIFICATIONS
Method: Colorimetric (DR 900)
Range: 100 to 3250 ppb
Testing Time: 15 minutes

DESCRIPTION
N-1250/PLUS in the sample reacts with ferric iron
in ELIMIN-OX™ Reagent 2 to produce ferrous ion
in an amount related to the N-1250/PLUS concen-
tration. This solution then reacts with ELIMIN-OX
Reagent 1, which forms a purple color with
ferrous iron.

Special Notes: Analyze sample as soon as it is collected. The temperature of the sample should be 72-82°F (22-28°C). Do
not use a copper-based sample cooler as copper interferes with this reaction. If the temperature of the sample is not in the
proper range, correct the result as follows:
N1250/PLUS – [9 X (C*1.8 - 45)] = N1250/PLUS TC OR N1250/PLUS – [9 X (°F - 77)] = N1250/PLUS TC
