Hydrazine

DR 900 Analytical Procedure AP-50/900

SPECIFICATIONS
Method: Colorimetric (DR 900)
Range: 16 to 500 ppb as hydrazine (N2H4)
Testing Time: 15 minutes

DESCRIPTION
The portable Nalco DR 900 colorimeter enables
extremely sensitive analysis of residual hydrazine.
The test reacts any residual (unoxi-dized) hydra-
zine with p-dimethylaminobenzalde-hyde to form
a highly colored yellow complex. The intensity of
the yellow complex is directly proportional to the
hydrazine concentration.
