The preparation of this thesis has been a long journey, passing various
milestones but as we approach the destination of this beautiful journey I am reminded
of all the companions that walked beside me and the various strangers that I met along
and who became a part of my life. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to
all those who have touched my life along this journey for without them it wouldn’t
have been this remarkable and memorable experience.

Respected Dr. C.R. Jilova has been more than my research supervisor. He has
been a mentor, a guide, a friend, a critic, and above all a teacher. He has blessed me
with his constant support and invaluable suggestions throughout my research work.
His wide knowledge, logical understanding and enthusiasm in research motivated me
to perform beyond my own expectations. His constant encouragement helped me
overcome all obstacles and made this all possible. It’s been an honor working with
him and I shall be forever indebted to him for his selfless guidance.

Vishal, Nisha, Richa, Deepak, Ishika and Niharika for being sweet sisters and

Ma, Papa and Dadi; words cannot express the gratitude and respect that I have
for you. Your unconditional love and support is more than I could have ever asked

remember my Dadaji and Chachaji whose loving memories will be with me
throughout my life.

I don’t have words to thank my beloved wife Pallavi whose constant love and
support has been a great asset for me. Thank you Anirudh; for coming into our life
