Volume, Bass and Treble Circuit in Audio Amplifier

Hii friend,

Today I am going to make a circuit of Volume, bass and treble.This circuit will control the volume of amplifier and
bass and it will also control the treble of the amplifier.This circuit will be only for single channel audio amplifier.This
circuit I will use in 6283 IC single channel audio amplifier board.As we learnt the wiring of 6283 ic amplifier board
in previous blog.

Let's get started,

Step 1: Take All Components As Shown Below

Components required -

(1.) Ceramic capacitor - (100nf) 104 x1

(2.) Ceramic capacitor - (0.01uf) 103 x1

(3.) Potentiometer (Variable resistor) - 100K x2

(4.) Resistor - 4.7K x1

(5.) Connecting wires

Step 2: Connect All Components

Connect all components according to circuit diagram as shown in picture.

Step 3: Connect Wires in Potentiometer

Potentiometer-1 is for Bass and Potentiometer-2 is for Treble.

Firstly we have to connect wires in 1st pin of potentiometer-1 to 1st pin of potentiometer-2 (This wire is connected
in potentiometer for audio input)

Next connect 3rd pin of potentiometer-1 to 3rd pin of potentiometer-2 (This wire is for ground).

Step 4: Next Connect 103 Pf

Next we have to connect 0.01uf ceramic capacitor (103pf) to pin-1 and pin-2 of potentiometer-1 which is for Bass
as you can see in the picture.

Step 5: Connect 4.7K Resistor

Next we have to connect 4.7K resistor to the middle pin of Bass potentiometer as you can see in the picture.

Step 6: Connect 100nf Ceramic Capacitor

Now we have to connect 100nf (104pf) Ceramic capacitor in series to the middle pin of treble potentiometer as
shown in the picture.

Step 7: Connect Wires

Next connect wires in the output of 4.7K resistor and in 100nf (104pf) capacitor as you can see in the picture.

Step 8: Connect Volume Potentiometer

Bass and treble circuit is ready so now we have to connect volume potentiometer.

Connect wire in the 2nd pin of Volume potentiometer to pin-1 of Bass potentiometer and

connect 3rd pin of volume potentiometer to 3rd pin of bass potentiometer.

Connect aux cable Left/Right wire in pin-1 of volume potentiometer and ground wire in 3rd pin of volume
potentiometer as picture.

Step 9: Connect Wire in GND Pin

Next connect a wire in the GND pin of potentiometer which is 3rd pin of all potentiometer.

As in picture I connect ground wire in the 3rd pin of treble potentiometer.

Step 10: Connect Input Wire in Amplifier

Now we have to give input audio to the amplifier board.

Connect output wires of 4.7K resistor and 104 pf to input pin of Amplifier board and GND wire to the Ground pin of
amplifier as you can see in the picture.

Step 11: Amplifier Bass, Treble and Volume Circuit Is Ready

Now Volume , Bass and Treble circuit is ready so let's check it.

Give power supply to the amplifier board and plug in aux cable to mobile phone and play songs.

For bass and treble -

Rotate the knob of bass and treble potentiometer and enjoy songs with bass and treble sound.
