Fiber blending and mixture

With the above basic key materials, we usually do the following blending

a. TC
TC stands for tetoron cotton. Tetron also called decron is actually the trade name of
polyester. Tetron was used in place of polyester and the abbreviation “TC” was formed
and used ever since.

TC fabric usually means 65% polyester and 35% cotton, but strictly speaking it means
51% or more of polyester with balance in cotton.

b. CVC
CVC stands for Chief Value Cotton. CVC fabric usually means 85% cotton and 15%
polyester, but strictly speaking it means 51% or more of cotton with balance in polyester.

This mixture should have the following characteristics.

• Still soft
• Absorbent
• Does not shrink or shrink very little
• Not easy to crease

Therefore, we can understand that the idea of making this combination is more practical
value than appearance.
