The Amazon Aviation Security team is seeking an enthusiastic, customer obsessed AvSec Security
Manager to provide support and oversight for cargo transportation efforts in Amazon Air, encompassing
new initiatives for the transportation supply chain involving Amazon owned and third party delivery
methods. Responsibilities include managing risk-based security standards and ensuring compliance with
corporate policies, airport and federal regulations, and standardized processes. The AvSec Manager
performs ongoing assessments of operating risks and the development of appropriate mitigation
strategies to sustain business operations, existing and future.

We are seeking a strong leader who embraces our Leadership Principles and is excited about an
opportunity to influence and support our growing Air network. This key role supports the Air operation
programs with understanding, implementing, and validation of security requirements, to ensure
associates, third party vendors, visitors, and assets (people, property, and data) are secure and the

have a demonstrated ability to utilize their security expertise and management strength to challenge
conventional wisdom, think strategically, communicate effectively, and deliver results.

Key Job Responsibilities


The AvSec Manager responsibilities include managing ambiguity through knowledge to facilitate team
priorities in order to meet short-term process targets and team goals. This position will assist with hiring &
developing the right workforce strategy to meet long-term process targets. This position will directly
manage a team of on-site professionals and 3rd party vendors.

The AvSec Manager responsibilities also include verifying compliance with security procedures and
regulatory standards, physical security design standards and policies and utilize Security Management
Systems processes for risk mitigation. Additional responsibilities include developing new and evaluating
existing security standards security standards by establishing workflows, SLAs, and operational
excellence mechanisms by ensuring customer outcomes are data driven, measured and validated.

This is a new and evolving business operation. We are looking for someone who can introduce best
practices and move with a strong bias for action as we ramp up these efforts. Other responsibilities
include:

 Own the overall security and regulatory compliance for the facility
 Drive creation of security and quality initiatives that continuously improve processes and mitigate
deficiencies
 Work closely with site leaders and support staff (e.g., HR, LP, Safety) to ensure on-going support
for AIR security initiatives and policies

 Utilize Security Management Systems (SeMS) to identify root cause and develop mitigating
processes to reduce risk

The span of Authority for this role includes oversite of a single facility within a geographic region. This will
include the hiring and development of team members, supporting operational leadership, managing

 Must fulfill FAA and DHS criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges
to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable

Job Summary:

The Security Assistant Manager will assist the Security Manager in training Security staff on how to
effectively provide security and protection for guests, team members, and the property on assigned shifts
in accordance with departmental standards. Provides guidance and leadership to all reporting security
personnel at Meow Wolf Denver. Promotes good working relations through courteous, helpful, and
professional contact with employees, visitors, guests, and vendors/contractors. Must work seamlessly
with GM, Operations Directors, Human Resource and across all departments to ensure delivery of the
highest level of guest satisfaction. Reports directly to the Security Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

 Complete all daily reports, incident reports, supplemental reports, and other written, electronic
documents pertinent to the day-to-day activities of assigned tasks.
 Monitors, enforces, and reports violations of company rules, company policies, and applicable
Local/ State/ Federal laws.
 Monitor and control guests entering and exiting the venue.
 Interact with guests and employees in a professional manner and engage with local law
enforcement agencies as required.
 Respond to reports of guest or employee injury or illness and provides First Aid, CPR, and use
AED as needed.
 Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical
emergencies, and threats to life and/or property.
 Direct evacuations during emergencies and assist guests as needed.
 Escort security vendors and/or employees with money pick up and drop offs.

Technical Focus
Under the overall supervision of the Head of FAO Partnership and Liaison Office in Azerbaijan, under the

Tasks and responsibilities

 Undertake a field assessment in the country to identify the current feeding, housing and other
husbandry practices and the needs to improve sheep feed production and provide the relevant
report;
 Identify potential agricultural by products and develop recommendations on how to implement
them in the feed value chain and feeding practices;
 Support the establishment of Farmer Field School (FFS) activities to provide hands-on practical
training and disseminate technical information regarding good husbandry practices, including
appropriate housing for the local conditions, herd-health monitoring, breeding and feeding (which
should include the appropriate production and use of silage and hay, use of crop residues and
agriculture industry by-products);
 Support NC on technical guidance for the staff of the MoA, selected smallholders and farmers on
production, processing, and marketing of feed, fodder, silage and concentrate as well as other
husbandry good practices that aim at improving the sheep production at the flock level;
 Guide the establishment of sheep demonstration farm on sheep good feeding practices, silage
production, use of crop residues and agro industry by-products, as well as housing and other
good husbandry practices ;
 Provide support for timely implementation of project related activities;
 provide proposals with regard on encouragement of women to participate in the improvement of
the feed sector at all levels;
 Provide final report
 Perform any other related tasks as requested by the LTO and FAPP Project Manager.
