I.

Point of View

The point of view used in this case study is from the internal management of Ice Candy

Craze. She is Madelyn V. Gloria, a management consultant. This case study was made to help

the management to have a better solutions that they need to solve the problems regarding

the behavior of the staffs inside the management.

II. Time Context

The Ice Candy Craze management is facing about the behavior of the staffs, this problem

will be solved this month of January in the year 2020 (present time).

III. Problem Statement

The management distribute different tasks to the personnel. Mr. John Paul Diaz, the team

leader assigned Ms. Daniella De Guzman and Maricar Soriano for selling the products. Ms.

Kayecelle Sagun and Isabel Mamaril are in charge in preparing the financial statements of the

business. While in production team, the management designate the task to Ms. Diana Ambat,

Mhery Joy De Vera, Azalea Centeno. The production of Ice Candy needs staffs who are

knowledgeable in making the product. The staffs of the management that are assigned to

make the Ice Candy are not always available due to some unexpected circumstances.

IV. Statement of the Objective

The Management should provide rules regarding the performance of the personnel inside

the management, also the management should prepare a team building for the staffs to be

able for them to become more productive. The team leader should confront his staffs about
their behavior towards their actions, also the team leader should motivate his members to

be effective and efficient to their assigned tasks. And lastly, the team leader and the staffs

should do their responsibilities including attending meetings, cooperate and especially do

their assigned tasks. The problem is important to solve to avoid conflict inside the

management.

ACA No. 1- First, the management should make rules regarding the performance of the

staffs to maintain good relationship between the management and the staffs.

ACA No. 2- Second, the management should prepare a team building for the

members/staffs of the management to be able for them to become more productive.

ACA No. 3- Third, the team leader should confront his personnel about their behavior

towards their actions to avoid problems.

ACA No. 4- Fourth, the team leader should motivate his members to be effective and

efficient to their assigned tasks.

ACA No. 5- Lastly, the team leader and the members should do their responsibilities

including attending meetings, cooperate and especially do their assigned tasks so they can

finish their job easily without any complain.

 The staffs may feel pressure to do the tasks

 Some personnel will realize that they are not doing their tasks right

 The team leader will easily identify the opinions/feelings of his members

 The staffs will do their best to finish their assigned tasks

 The staffs might take it in a negative way

 The staffs may not take their work seriously

 The team leader may think that he is smart enough to motivate his staffs

 The team leader and the staffs’ work will easily be done

 The staffs can share their opinions when the management calls a meeting or

seminar

 Making decisions faster and resolve problems when the team leader and the

staffs are cooperating


 Staffs will know every detail of their plans when they attend in meetings or

seminars

 Strengthening their bond or relationship when they are doing their

responsibilities together

 Some staffs may not do their assigned tasks

 The team leader might not do his responsibility as a leader

 The team leader and some staffs may not cooperate in their tasks or

responsibilities

 The team leader and the staffs will do their tasks only and not giving any

attention in other’s tasks/works

 The assigned leader let his members to do all the tasks without helping

IX. Conclusion

Based on the facts of the case and the decision matrix below, the best alternative courses

of action will be the first one. This will solve the problem of the Ice Candy Craze management.

The management can manage the problem when it happens.
