.
In Pakistan the poultry sector is playing an important role in bridging the gap between the
supply and demand for protein. Commercial poultry farming started in Pakistan in the early
1960s and showed rapid growth over the decades. The early growth of this sector was the
result of the promotional policies from the Government and the persistence of the poultry
farming community. The Government considered the poultry production chain to be a crucial
part of the food processing industry and gave special incentives to this sector, and hence the
poultry sector was declared free of sales and income tax as well as exempt from import duties
for a number of years (Sadiq , 2004). In Pakistan, poultry production is one of the most dynamic
and well organized sectors contributing 26.8%, 5.76% and 1.26% respectively to total meat
production, agricultural sector and overall GDP.

We traveled to many cities in Punjab and we also visited the control sheds there. We went
there and saw that there are many diseases in poultry birds. But there is no way to control
these diseases. No medicine is being given to control the diseases of poultry animals. And no
measures are being taken to prevent these diseases, which cause many birds to die every
year.In Punjab Province the Poultry Birds Diseases are very High and we have No Medicine For
Treatment of these Diseases. That’s why we decides we make and Online Portal For Controlling
these diseases. We will Delivers all Important Medicine to Control Sheds and Farm Houses and
City Hospitals For Controlling the Diseases.Only 3 Hospitals in Faisalabad City and 3 main
Pharmacies in Faisalabad City. They Are not Provide important Drugs On time. Only 1 Hospitals
in Gojra City and 2 main Pharmacies in Gojra City. Are not Provide important Drugs On time. We
Noted all Such Kinds of Problems and we decided to create an Online app For Poultry Hospitals
and Control Sheds By This Name Pakistan Poultry Medicine.

Diseases outbreaks and decreased productivity due to climatic stress were the major challenges
which poultry industry in Pakistan faced during 2018-2020. Hydro Pericardium Syndrome (HPS)
appeared in 2018 and caused a huge damage to broiler and broiler breeder flocks. Gumbo
appeared in 2019-and adversely effected broiler, layer and parent flocks. This led to
investigating new approached including vaccination and bio security. Various agricultural and
veterinarians sectors did research and played vital role in this area .Despite lack of proper
planning and certain other pitfalls, poultry industry keep growing and successfully established
it’s self by 2020.so therefore we decided we delivered important poultry medicine by online
Portal. These Medicine very Health Full and Important For the Poultry Birds We will Delivered
these Drugs To Online In Major Cities Of Pakistan Like Faisalabad , Toba Tek Singh Gojra and
Multan Because poultry diseases are very High in these areas and governments hospitals and
other local vendors are not properly distributing pottery medicine in there areas and poultry
mortality in there areas is increasing day by day.

1.1. Background

Poultry farming is widely practiced by rural households ,Farm ,and Control Sheds in Pakistan
and in province Punjab majority of domestic birds are kept on small household and Poultry
Farms. However, smallholder poultry production is constrained by several issues such as
infectious diseases, including avian influenza viruses whose circulation remains a threat to
public health.
 Pullorum Disease. ...
 Fowl Typhoid. .
 Mycoplasmosis (CRD, Air sac, Sinusitis) ...
 Fowl Cholera. ...

These Diseases are very common in Poultry Birds and Every year many of Poultry Birds Died due
to these Diseases. This observational study describes the demographic structure and dynamics
of small-scale poultry farms of the major Cities of Punjab.In-depth information on the
population structure, demographic dynamics, bio security, and vaccination practices of
smallholder poultry farms is therefore needed. While poultry trade networks were investigated
in Punjab Province and farming practices of large itinerant duck flocks were studied in the some
Cities of Punjab, little attention has been given to the specific management of small-scale farms.
The present study aimed to collect descriptive data on the on-farm demographic structure and
dynamics of poultry kept in small-scale farms of the Punjab Province. And delivered all
important medicine of Poultry Diseases on time. In this way we control the death Ratio of
Poultry Birds.

1.2. Motivations and Challenges

Poultry industry is facing many challenges in Pakistan. One of the most important threats is
Newcastle diseases and avian influenza viruses that has adversely affected the investment and
growth rate of poultry industry in many countries. Avian influenza is a viral disease caused by
different stereotype of Avian influenza virus.

Dr Mobeen Sarwar, PhD scholar at Department of Microbiology, University of Veterinary and

Animal Sciences, Lahore under the supervision of Professor Dr Khushi Muhammad has recently
proved that Newcastle disease virus and avian influenza virus (H9N2) are prevailing in live bird
markets. The birds in the markets are potential source of the virus that may be a contributory
factor in the occurrence of avian influenza outbreaks in commercial birds. Following sanitary
measures along with monitoring of live bird markets of large cities (in markets or shops) for
avian influenza viruses may be adopted to avoid any bird flu outbreak in near future.

1.3. Goals and Objectives

To provide Better facilities of Poultry medicine to the Control shed and poultry Farms.
we want to encourage, secure and maintain good and closer relationship and unanimity among
Control Shed and Poultry Farms and to promote and protect their business.
interests and to do all that is necessary for the furtherance and development of Poultry Farming
and allied trade in Pakistan.

 To consider all problems and questions confronting Poultry Farming and Poultry Farmers
etc.
 and to delivers important medicine of Poultry Birds and means for tackling and solving the
same.
 To publish or cause to publish or encourage and support publications, bulletins or any
other information considered useful or beneficial to the trade.

And generally to do all that may be necessary to achieve the aims and objects of the
Association directly and indirectly or take any measure conducive to the development and
progress of the trade.

1.4. Literature Review/Existing Solutions

All the works of ordering in existing system a Poultry Medicine is manual and it was highly time
consuming.. Many Control Sheds and Farms Houses chains are leveraging the power of mobile
technology to keep up with competitors. Modern customers use mobile as a means of
accessibility, as well as convenience. Businesses who are able to adapt to the changing world
and provide seamless shopping experiences by means of integrating mobile solutions are more
likely to convert users into loyal customers .
Every year Bundle of Poultry Birds are died due to late providing medicine and not availability
of medicine. That’s why we decides we make and Online Portal For Controlling these diseases.
We will Delivers all Important Medicine to Control Sheds and Farm Houses and City Hospitals
For Controlling the Diseases.

1.5. Gap Analysis

The company needs to provide online facilities to the customers. So, the Company can get more
attention in the market. All the works of ordering in existing system a Poultry Medicine is
manual and it was highly time consuming. We will first go to the control shades and the chicken
coops to tell people about our online app and get them to install the app on their mobiles;
that's how people will order us online. And by ordering, they will be able to take whatever
medicine they need.

We will sell poultry medicine at affordable prices from the market; and we have added another
feature to this app for our customers; That is, we will also provide our customers with the
facility of online doctor If a poultry disease occurs in a control shed or a farmhouse, customers
can consult our doctor online for free. And then we will give the medicine as per the doctor's
instructions.

1.6. Proposed Solution

We traveled to many cities in Punjab and we also visited the control sheds there. We went
there and saw that there are many diseases in poultry birds. But there is no way to control
these diseases. No medicine is being given to control the diseases of poultry animals. And no
measures are being taken to prevent these diseases, which cause many birds to die every year.

In Pakistan the poultry sector is playing an important role in bridging the gap between the
supply and demand for protein. Commercial poultry farming started in Pakistan in the early
1960s and showed rapid growth over the decades. The early growth of this sector was the
result of the promotional policies from the Government and the persistent of the poultry
farming community.

In Punjab Province the Poultry Birds Diseases are very High and we have No Medicine For
Treatment of these Diseases.

Comparison of poultry meat with beef and mutton

Poultry production has increased its share steadily in the total meat pool of the country. In 1971,
the market share of beef was 61%, mutton was 37%, and poultry meat a mere 2-2.5% (GOP,
2013). In 2010 the market share of poultry meat had increased to 25%, whereas beef and
mutton had reduced to 55% and 20% respectively (GOP, 2013). It was this dynamic increase in
the overall magnitude of poultry sector that decreased the gap between the supply and
demand of animal proteins in Pakistan, and also assisted in establishing beef and mutton prices,
making meat affordable to most of the Pakistani population.

Chapter 5
Implementation

Faculty of CS&IT, The Superior College Lahore, Pakistan 57

Project Report: < write Project title here>

Chapter 5: Implementation
A crucial phase in the system life cycle of the successful implementation of the new system
design, Implementation simply means conveying a new system design into operation.
This involves creating computer-compatible files, training the operating staff and installing
hardware, terminals and telecommunication networks before the system is up and running.
A critical factor in conversion is not disrupting the functioning of the organization. In system
implementation, user training is crucial for minimizing resistance to change and giving the new
system a chance to prove its worth. Training aids, such as user friendly, manuals, a data
dictionary, job performance aids that communicate information about the new system and
“help” screens provide the user with a good start on the new system.

5.1. Important Flow Control/Pseudo codes

Flow control basically used for understanding the flow of the program. Our Application what
actually done we are understand by seen through flow diagram. Pseudo codes are just like
English statements we are understand by reading English statements. Flow diagram and pseudo
code is very important for user that easily learning and understand about the working of our
Application.

different types of diagram like by use case. We explain how User actually wants from the in this
environment we also define the sequence of the web application. We use java and also use
SQL server because Database has a major part of our website. Other tools and techniques are
also used like Android studio, MVC, window form, entity framework, desktop application. The
best and best thing about being a App developer is that the App is needs changing accordingly
the customer requirement. So While this is exciting it also means that App developers must
always be think and try to learn about new technique’s, or programming languages in which

Testing and Evaluation

Faculty of CS&IT, The Superior College Lahore, Pakistan 60

Project Report: < write Project title here>

Chapter 6: Testing and Evaluation

Testing is a process of executing a program with the interest of finding an error. A good test is
one that has high probability of finding the yet undiscovered error. Testing should
systematically uncover different classes of errors in a minimum amount of time with a
minimum amount of efforts.

Two classes of inputs are provided to test the process

 A software configuration that includes a software requirement specification, a design

specification and source code.

 A software configuration that includes a test plan and procedure, any testing tool and test
cases and their expected results.Testing is divided into several distinct operations:

6.1. Use Case Testing:

Use Case Testing is a functional black box testing technique that helps testers to identify test
scenarios that exercise the whole system on each transaction basis from start to finish.

6.1.1: Black Box Test Cases:

Black box testing also known as Behavioral Testing, is a software testing method in which the
internal structure/ design/ implementation of the item being tested is not known to the tester.
These tests can be functional or non-functional, though usually functional.
This method is named so because the software program, in the eyes of the tester, is like a black
box; inside which one cannot see. This method attempts to find errors in the following
categories:

 Incorrect or missing functions

 Interface errors
 Errors in data structures or external database access
 Behavior or performance errors
 Initialization and termination errors

Project Report: < write Project title here>

6.2. Equivalence partitioning

Equivalence class partitioning (EP) is a very widely used method to decrease the number of
possible test cases that are required to test a system. Let see the example of Equivalence
Partitions for login Authentication.

Variables Valid Classes Invalid Classes

Username 1. Only username “admin”. 1. Alphabets, digits and

2. Case in-sensitive. symbols
3. Compulsory field. other than “admin”.
2. Empty Field.

Password 1. Length should be greater 1. Length less than 5

than 5 characters.
characters. 2. Empty field.
2. May contain symbols,
alphabets
[a-z A-Z] and digits [0-9].

6.3. Boundary value analysis:

A boundary value is an input or output value on the border of an equivalence partition, includes
minimum and maximum values at inside and outside boundaries. Normally Boundary value
analysis is part of stress and negative testing.

6.4. Data flow testing:

Unit test comprises of a set tests performed by an individual program prior to the
integration of the unit into large system. A program unit is usually the smallest free
functioning part of the whole system. Module unit testing should be as exhaustive as
possible to ensure that each representation handled by each module has been tested.
All the units that makeup the system must be tested independently to ensure that they
work as required.During unit testing some errors were raised and all of them were
rectified and handled well. The result was quiet satisfactory and it worked well.

Faculty of CS&IT, The Superior College Lahore, Pakistan 62

Project Report: < write Project title here>

6.5. Unit testing

Unit testing emphasizes the verification effort on the smallest unit of software design i.e.; a
software component or module. Unit testing is a dynamic method for verification, where
program is actually compiled and executed. Unit testing is performed in parallel with the coding
phase. Unit testing tests units or modules not the whole software. I have tested each
view/module of the application individually. As the modules were built up testing was carried
out simultaneously, tracking out each and every kind of input and checking the corresponding
output until module is working correctly. 20 The functionality of the modules was also tested as
separate units. Each of the three modules was tested as separate units. In each module all the
functionalities were tested in isolation.

In the Shop Products Module when a product has been added to cart it has been made sure
that if the item already exists in the shopping cart then the quantity is increased by one else a
new item is created in the shopping cart. Also the state of the system after a Poultry Medicine
has been dragged in to the shopping cart is same as the state of the system if it was added by
clicking the add to cart button. Also it has been ensured that all the images of the Poultry
Medicine displayed in the shop products page are drag gable and have the product property so
that they can be dropped in the cart area. In the Product Description Module it has been tested
that all the images are displayed properly. Users can add review and the as soon as a user adds
a review it is updated in the view customer review tab. It has been checked to see if the whole
page refreshes or a partial page update happens when a user writes a review.

In the Cart Details it has been tested that when a user edits a quantity or removes a Medicine
from the cart, the total price is updated accordingly. It has been checked to see if the whole
page refreshes or a partial page update happens when a user edits the cart. Visual Studio 2008
has in built support for testing the application. The unit testing can be done using visual studio
2008 without the need of any external application. Various methods have been created for the
purpose of unit testing. Test cases are automatically generated for these methods. The tests
run under the ASP.NET context which means settings from Web.configure file are automatically
picked up once the test case starts running.

Methods were written to retrieve all the manufacturers from the database, strings that match a
certain search term, products that match certain filter criteria, all images that belong to a
particular product etc. Unit test cases were automatically generated for these methods and it
can be seen in figure 6.1 that the tests have passed.

Project Report: < write Project title here>

6.6. Integration testing

In integration testing a system consisting of different modules is tested for problems arising
from component interaction. Integration testing should be developed from the system
specification. Firstly, a minimum configuration must be integrated and tested. In my project I
have done integration testing in a bottom up fashion i.e. in this project I have started
construction and testing with atomic modules. After unit testing the modules are integrated
one by one and then tested the system for problems arising from component interaction.

6.7. Performance testing

Performance testing, a non-functional testing technique performed to determine the system
parameters in terms of responsiveness and stability under various workload.Performance
testing measures the quality attributes of the system, such as scalability, reliability and resource
usage

6.8. Stress Testing

Stress testing a Non-Functional testing technique that is performed as part of performance
testing. During stress testing, the system is monitored after subjecting the system to overload
to ensure that the system can sustain the stress. The recovery of the system from such phase
(after stress) is very critical as it is highly likely to happen in production environment.

Chapter 7: Summary, Conclusion & Future Enhancements

7.1. Project Summary

Our Project Name is Pakistan Poultry Medicine. In this Project First We Create the Online App By
this Name Pakistan Poultry Medicine. In This App We Provide All Important Medicine Of
Poultry Which Is Most Important For The Poultry Birds. like Flora shep / Medicine , Liver Tonic ,
Vita-cell etc…In Punjab Province the Poultry Birds Diseases are very High.we visit control sheds
and identify the problems at least thousands of chicken have died during in 2019-2020. We will
Delivered these Drugs To Online In Major Cities Of Pakistan Like Faisalabad , Toba Tek Singh ,
Gojra , Kamalia , Rajana , Layyah in These Cities Because Poultry Medicine are Not Available in
these Areas.

And no
measures are being taken to prevent these diseases, which cause many birds to die every year.
In Punjab Province the Poultry Birds Diseases are very High and we have No Medicine For
Treatment of these Diseases.

7.2. Achievements and Improvements:

Since 1970s. By the mid-1970s, the industry had evolved into its modern state with the
implementation of nutritional discoveries, disease eradication programs, genetic improvements
through traditional breeding, and mechanization and automation technologies. If we vaccinate
chickens on time and provide all the necessary medicines to the chickens on time, we can
reduce the mortality rate of chickens.

AN OVERVIEW OF PAKISTAN POULTRY INDUSTRYYEAR 2020-2021

Present Status:

 At present over 190 billion rupees worth of agriculture produce and by products of
agriculture are being used in poultry feeds.
 Presently turnover of Pakistan Poultry Industry is about 1,082 Billion rupees.
 Poultry sector generates employment and income for about 1.5 million people.
 Annually we are producing 17,500 million table eggs.
 Annually we are producing 1,322 million kilo grams chicken meat.
 As per standard of World Health Organization, daily requirement of animal protein for a
person is 27 grams whereas public is consuming 17 grams only. Therefore, we are
already consuming less animal protein as per required standards.
 In 2021 we Control the Death Ratio of Poultry Birds by Online Application

7.3. Critical Review

There is a long list of issues linked with the Pakistani poultry industry and proper strategies are
needed to address these in order to show effective presence in international markets. The
general law and order situation in Pakistan has been a factor contributing to slower growth of
the local poultry industry, especially in the last 10 years. Long hours of power shortage,
especially in the extreme hot weathers, caused real damage to the growth of the poultry
industry. According to Nazir (2013), Pakistan has not been successful in producing specific
pathogen free (SPF) chickens, and suffers from high feed prices (Tauqir and Nawaz, 2001) along
with poor quality feed containing high levels of my co toxins (Saeed et al., 2009). Local poultry
farmers need consultancy regarding the selection of suitable sites for constructing poultry
farms as previous clustering of poultry farms in a specific locality has created high disease
occurrence. Lack of implementation of bio-security plans along with a poor control upon
temperature, humidity and ventilation has further deteriorated the situation (Nazir, 2013).
The industry has to control fluctuating prices and maintain a constant income, which means a
move towards value added products. No doubt some companies like K&NS, MENU and Mann-o-
Salwa chicken have been successful in their ventures into value added poultry products, but this
still needs sustained efforts to create awareness among consumers regarding overall quality
and safety of value added products.

7.4. Lessons Learn

Simply put, if you have Poultry Birds such as Brilar Chicken Hen etc., in your home, you might
have observed certain traits in them that carry various lessons for us which are highlighted in
this write up. Adopting and practicing those qualities in our daily life, it would certainly add up
to our personality grooming. As it is very new idea in Pakistan, it will take little time to become
a very popular business section in our country, but we will try our best to satisfy our
customers. With an emphasis on customer service banana.com will differentiate itself from
others by establishing a welcoming friendly atmosphere for the customer in our target market.
We can’t just sell our products; we must deliver those product with a focus on excellence. We
have to satisfy our customers by our service in order to become successful and our home
delivery system has to be very sharp.

7.5. Future Enhancements/Recommendations

The aim of study is to analyze the feed production and price trends for broiler, layer and
breeder flocks in Pakistan. Moreover commercial poultry feed quantity required in Pakistan is
predicted till 2025 on yearly basis Feed production trends for poultry in Pakistan were
investigated by analyzing the collected data through a baseline study with an extensive
surveying program.
.
Yearly broiler, layer and breeder feed and feed production analysis shown in (Table5). The table
indicates increasing trend with same tendency of feed production that stands before 2016.
Such trends evaluations are helpful in evaluating future requirements and determining growth
levels that could be improve by enhancing quantitative productions and future demands. It is in
connection with the price of feed / bag at farm gate rate
