Group Mediclaim- The care for you and your family


At Danfoss the health of our employees comes first. You can avail
cashless treatment at networked hospitals or get reimbursement for
your hospital expenses.

Employee Policy (Default)


• Sum Insured INR 500,000

• Coverage from Day 1

• Pre-existing Diseases covered from Day 1

• Spouse and 2 children are covered from Day 1

Parental Policy (Voluntary)


• Sum Insured starts from
INR 300,000
• Top-up options available
INR 400,000 and INR 500,000

Annual Health Checkup- For a Healthier Life


Maintaining one’s health is a continuous process. At
Danfoss you are entitled to avail master health check up
once in 365 days at any one of our networked hospitals.

inhouse health centre to

network, full time doctors are

also available in case of

the same.

Leave Policy
There are several leave policies mentioned below that you
can use for the leaves you require

• 30 days Privilege Leaves


• 7 days Casual Leaves
• Sick Leave at Actuals
(Minimum more than 3 days)
• Paternity leave - 10 days of paid leave per child for
maximum of 2 children
• Maternity leave - As per Maternity Benefit Act,
1961
• Adoption leave - 10 paid leaves are given per
children for a maximum of 2 children

Work From Home


Flexibility at work gives you the best
balance of work and life. Danfoss believes
in giving you the best and gives the work
from home option. This option is given
twice a month subject to the approval of
the manager.

Danfoss Delight
Danfoss has a number of delight programs, Festive Delight,
Community Delight, Wellness Delight and Special Delight. Under
these programs the employees celebrate festivals together to
create a sense of belongingness. By lending a helping hand to the
society employees get a chance to do their part for the society.

WORK LIFE BALANCE
In addition to other benefits, the benefits mentioned below are available in Chennai campus.

Help Desks
Help desks are your point of contact for any queries regarding NPS, PF,
Medi Claim etc. These help desks are located in the office premises itself
for ease of support.

• Medi Claim – Every Tuesday and Thursday


• PF – Twice a month
• NPS – Once a month
• Annual health check up queries can also be addressed to the help
desk
• Apart from this, benefit programmes are organized in terms of
knowledge sessions for the mediclaim, medical insurance, NPS etc
Day Care Centre
Have peace of mind when you are working by leaving
your kids with our entrusted caregivers at the crèche.

The day care centre functions 6 days a week and has


able care takers to attend to employees’ children. It can
accomodate upto 50 children under 5 years of age.

It has quality learning materials, an activity zone, play


area and a rest area.

Les Concierges
Danfoss gives you concierge support for assistance with
your license/passport, queries related to banking etc. From
ordering cake for team members to shifting work desk this
support can be used for work in the premises of the office.

Recreation Centre

gym. The workouts give you a boost at work and also a

OTHER BENEFITS
National Pension System (NPS)
Save tax and accumulate your salary under the NPS
scheme. Small savings made under NPS can ensure
large returns over a period of time.

Employees can contribute to the NPS under the Flexi


pay scheme. Up to 10% of Basic pay is the limit to
the contribution. By enrolling in NPS you have the
following tax saving opportunities

1. Tax Exemption up to 10% of your Basic Pay


(deducted from your salary) – Employer

2. Employee self-contribution to NPS apart from
option A is tax deductible up to INR 50,000
under 80 ccd2

Relocation Policy

Telecommunication Policy
To help employees stay connected, Danfoss
has formed the Telecommunication Policy. It
enables employees the convenience of calls
and accessing mails on the go. There are 2
options
• Option A: Voice only you are entitled to a
reimbursement at actuals up to max of INR
10,000/-inclusive of taxes
• Option B: Danfoss provides COD (Company
Owned Device), i.e. Danfoss mobile phone
and SIM card. It is intended for business use
and is only offered to employees who have
a clear business need

Gifts - A gift from Danfoss family


Danfoss makes the memorable moments

token of gifts. Following are the occasions
we celebrate together with you.
• Marriage Gift: On your marriage during
employment with Danfoss,you are
gifted with INR 5000
