In the Beginning by BADEN ALNER F.

DOMASIG

In the beginning, after the sperm cells and egg cells festival, among millions of
them, there was one lucky sperm cell which survived and won the race and
happily met and united with one single beautiful egg cell. And if you may ask I am
the lucky sperm cell.

Eventually the gamete was formed because of that holy union which marked my
journey in this place called earth. I underwent cell division and became a zygote, I
was developed into an embryo as I went down and traveled to the symbolic and
most significant part of my mother’s body, her uterus, which became my home
for nine months.

I knew by then that I am one of God’s wonderful gifts- the gift of life. For me to
survive, I held on so tightly into the uterine lining to get my nourishment.

My mother was the source of everything, whatever she took I benefited it as well.
The exchange of materials occurred by diffusion between me and my mother.

By the end of the second month my major organs were formed and I appeared to
be human and I was called fetus.

During 3rd month my sex organ, the most wanted part of my body was beginning
to form “saying hello to the women specie.”

As I reached in my 4th month all my major organs including my head started to

develop and my body hair eventually appeared. It was during this period that my
mother felt my presence inside her womb because I started to move and kick.

I felt that my eyelids and lungs were developed, and my lung started to function.
And I notice that I sucked my thumb involuntarily. It was then that my skin
expanded a bit because of fats deposit.

In my 8th month I felt overwhelming excitement to go out from my mother’s

womb comfort zone. I could sense the noise. I could hear people talking. I could
already feel something, Oh yes, my senses were well-developed; I already
positioned my head towards the uterus, getting ready to exit from my mother’s
womb and had my grand entrance to the earth.

Then the most awaited moment had come, the ninth month, yes this is it. I would
see and conquer the world. My coming out was not as easy as ABC. That was
indeed a hard battle for my mother. Tears, blood, sweat and pain, name it my
mother went through all these just to bring me to the place where I belong.

Thank you mom for taking care of me when I was in your womb. Thank you for
giving me a chance to live in this world.

I have realized how blessed I am when my family and relatives looked at me with
so much love and full of excitement. Truly I’m created with unique eyes, nose,
ears, hands and body. I am unique. I am a creation of God. I am a product of
sacred love shared by my parents. What more can I ask for.?

I have my own finger print that cannot be duplicated. I have my own DNA that
no one can replicate and have my own dentures which uniquely define me.

Amidst all these uniqueness, people seem to find fault at me. They laugh at me
because of my well-expanded mouth in short it’s big, others like it anyway
because it does a purpose others don’t know. My nose which is overly visible and
almost invade my entire face can also be a source of not so funny humor. They
may criticize it but it’s making me alive. What else do they see? My hair is
eventually vanishing. They call me names and laugh at my flaws at the top of their
lungs.

I don’t care whatever they say. I don’t mind how people react. I don’t worry
whatever they speak against me, because I know that in God’s eyes I AM
PERFECTLY CREATED.

I would like to share the same inspiration to others. Always believe in yourself.
Never be influenced by other people’s negative thoughts against you. No one has
the right to judge anyone because in God’s eyes we are all equal and we are all
loved by him.
Always remember that everyone of us is not created by accident but we are created with a
purpose. WE ARE ALL CREATED BECAUSE OF LOVE, which is the wonderful message of God to
humanity. Live with love for life is too short, celebrate it and fulfill it.
