Fonton, a neighboring town over the period from 1962 to today.
Overall, it is clear from the diagram that Meadowside has transformed into a
modern suburb. Its size has also been enlarged, which makes it connects with
Fonton.
In 1962, there was no housing or entertainment centers. However, in 1985, a
housing estate and leisure complex had been built. The road that went through
Meadowside and went to the north had also been enlarged and another road was
built to connect Meadowside village and its neighboring town, Fonton. There
didn’t used to be a supermarket until 1985, the same time with the housing estate
and leisure complex.
Another striking change is that the two towns are not isolate anymore. They are
integrated due to Meadowside’s size enlargement. New hotel and business park
have been built in the center of the two towns. There has also been a station to
travel between Meadowside and Fonton.
