Topic/Lesson Name: Media and Information Literate Individual
Content Standards: The learner demonstrates understanding of media and information literacy (MIL)
and MIL related concepts.
Performance Standards: The learner checks himself/herself regarding media literacy by making a
reflection paper regarding how media has affected his/her perception in everyday life.
Learning Competencies: The learner identifies the different forms of media that he/she has already been
using in an everyday basis, and classifying their respective positive and negative impacts.
Specific Learning Outcome: The learner identifies the different aspects of legal, ethical, and societal
issues involved in the information gathered through different kinds of media.
Time Allotment: One (1) hour
Content:
