It all started when I quit my job to prepare for Engineering Service Exam in March 2019.

I put a lot of
effort into the process, unfortunately, I could not make it into the final list, It is a long story but I
leave it for another day. It was February 2020, I performed well in GATE but ended up getting an
average rank because of some answer key discrepancies, gave a few independent PSUs exams,
missed some by few marks, for some results never came out. I started preparing for ESE again,
unfortunately, this time pandemic happened, I had to leave Delhi to come back to my home town
leaving all my preparation material in Delhi itself. It was June 2020, All future UPSC exams were
postponed to an indefinite period. I had two options: One, go for a Job, or Second, prepare for some
other exam. Job search in a pandemic was not a good idea so I decided to appear in MBA exams.
From core technical to MBA entrance exam preparation was a tough transition. I was performing
quite well in mocks but destiny already had decided something else, I got a very high fever just
before the CAT. I could not perform up to my full potential and that affected my overall percentile. I
did not give up and continue giving other exams. Some of my exam miss and hit snippets:

ESE 2020 Pre : 225.34/ 238(cutoff)

GATE: AIR 764 Electrical Engineering

NMAT 254 ( converted NMIMS core)

CAT: 97.09 (Few calls from IIMs, IIT-D, IIT-KGP waitlist, IMT-G)

SNAP: 99.26 ( converted flagship SCMHRD, SIBM-P waitlisted)

IIFT 99.87 ( converted IIFT Delhi) (99.97 in Quant, missed 100 percentile)

It gives me immense happiness to share that I will be joining IIFT Delhi for MBA(IB) 2021-2023.

I would especially like to thank Nikhil Vashisht for his extraordinary support and motivation in these
tough times that helped me to achieve this new height. Also, I would like to mention some very
important people among them are my parents who did not let my belief system forsaken, Also,
constant bits of advice from Uma deepthi Yalla, motivation from Davis Bansal, Shashwat Ranjan
made this happen.
